Culture, nature and tranquility - you will find all this in Basedow! The pretty village is located on the Deuschen Alleenstraße, in the nature park Mecklenburg Switzerland, not far from Lake Malchin. The well-kept village center with the famous castle, Lenné Park, pond and the old village is a listed building. In the large church you can visit a very valuable organ, also concerts are held here. Many beautiful cycling and hiking trails lead from here into the hilly landscape, nearby there is a lookout tower and also for swimming you will find many opportunities. Our cottage, for max. 4 people, located in the middle of the village, from the bedroom you have a beautiful view of the Basedower castle. Cozy furnishings are available on 2 floors: • 1 living room with dining area, satellite TV and couch • 1 open kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave and coffee maker • 1 bedroom upstairs with 1 double bed and 2 single beds • 1 guest toilet on the upper floor from the hallway leads a space-saving staircase (with wide access area) upstairs to the bedroom • 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer (incl. Towels) • 1 terrace with view and sun protection, garden furniture and grillIn the place are a cafe in the old blacksmith, one in the old sheepfold and a steakhouse, with associated hotel. Shops can be found in the neighboring village of Gessin, there is a shop for health food & café or in Malchin it is reached in a few minutes. It is about 65 km to the Hanseatic city of Rostock, about 100 km to Schwerin and about 30 km to Waren an der Müritz.

In the holiday home everything is needed for a vacation, so also notebooks and documents for eventual destinations. In high heat, it is very pleasant in the lower floor.
