Even though the lake level was way low, we had fun with our boat on the lake, with the house’s croquet set and our fireworks on the huge lawn, eating on the big deck, cooking and playing games in the spacious kitchen/livingroom area, and with the fuzball table on the lower level!

Pictures need to be updated!! The dock and so called beach area are nothing like was pictured. Full of weeds, no sandy beach! We purchased a rake, shovel and severalbags of sand for the young children. They came prepared to play on a beach, not in mud. We understand weather can be a factor, it would have been nice to have known that in advance. The walk from house to beach is quite long, that was not mentioned. No view of lake from house! The swing seats were in rough shape, kids brought their own! House could have been cleaner, frig shelf was terrible. Basement where two young families slept was very damp, smelly and cold. We will not book this property again.

Wonderful home with everything you need. Beyond excellent communication with the owner. Check out nearby (20 min) Crosby for Victuals (local art work) and a great tot and kid playlot. Also a serpent sculpture. Grand View Lodge (40 min) in Nisswa has a public access beach, cantina and a splash pad and slide perhaps open to the public. Ski dos for rent 185/2 hrs. Safari North Park is AMAZING and well worth the entrance fee. Camel ride (5pp), feed carrots (5) to the giraffes and the best thing of all the train ride through the African plain (5pp--don't miss it) with animals roaming all around you and a petting zoo (5 huge cup of feed--don't bother). The parakeet house is enchanting--they land on you and eat the (5) seed sticks. Our 3 year old loved the (10 unlimited wristband) arcade rides. Best family week ever.

Secluded Lake Getaway Perfect for Families

The size and accommodations between the house and outdoor property made this a great stay for everyone to enjoy time together or off on their own. The owner was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We would stay here again.

Wonderful property with spacious indoor and outdoor options for our multi generational family vacation. The lake was quiet allowing lots of time for relaxing and boating. This property provides lots of privacy and the yard is perfect for any outdoor yard games.

Friends golf and fishing trip.

Had a group of 8 stay here for the weekend. Fantastic place to hangout and stay. Great amenities, tons of space outside and inside. Highly recommended for big groups.

Gorgeous property

This house sits on a beautiful property touching both Upper Mission and Lower Mission Lakes. The property and the lakes are both peaceful even during the July 4th holiday. The house has bedrooms spread out so people can get their own space.

Weekend on the lake

We had a great stay at this property. It was large enough to comfortably fit our group of 10 adults and two infants. The lake was very clear and great for swimming and floating. Definitely recommend!

Big, warm & welcoming home.

Last minute decision to get family together over the Labor Day holiday when I found this beautiful home large enough to fit us all. Plus was they allow our furry family members to be with us. Can’t say enough how fun the home & property are.

Great Property

Thank you for having an awesome property! The layout of rooms worked great for 12 adults. Everyone had their space. Everything was clean and amenities worked great. Very open home and we all enjoyed very much. CoffeeBar was a fun touch and the commercial stove was cool too!

Such a great getaway!

We stayed the weekend at this beautiful house! Age ranging from 10months - 75 years old. The house was very clean and accommodated our large group! Everyone had their own space and never felt crammed. Plenty of outdoor activities for the kids and the adults! The host was very communicative and made the stay so enjoyable! I would 100% recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a weekend getaway in the quiet or family gathering!

Family lake house

We had an amazing time at this lake house. The layout was open and had plenty of room for our family to enjoy our time together. Lots of mosquitoes so we couldn’t grill outside like we wanted but made use of the stove inside. Plenty of room to park both our boats and other cars—lots of lakes nearby with boat launches so we were able to explore not only mission lake but other lakes as well.

Beautiful home on the lake with private setting!

We absolutely loved this rental. The home was beautiful and had room for all of our family and guests. Located on Upper/Lower Mission Lake, MN which made it perfect for enjoying a tiki pontoon cruise. The home was inviting and equipped with everything you need. The commercial oven/stove was fantastic! Property host was extremely friendly and helpful. Even allowed an early check-in. 5⭐️

Extended Family Get away

We had a great time, a lot of boating time. Nice dock and big yard for kids and yard games. I couple minor hiccups but Shirley made herself available for any questions. Wish is was a little closer to towns but the location was quiet and peaceful. There really isn’t a beach but the lake is really clean and has some nice shallow areas for floating etc. Some good family memories made.

Lovely Stay!

Our family loved staying at this well appointed property. The yard and deck was expansive and we enjoyed our time outside with plentiful seating and the fire pit. Kids loved the s’mores kit, fishing rods and tackle boxes. So relaxing to sit on the dock and just watch them fish while standing in the sandy shallow water. We enjoyed making meals in the large kitchen and playing games in the living room. Everyone had plenty of space to explore and relax. The owners thoughtful touches and excellent communication were much appreciated!

Kids can play outdoors, volleyball, or see the lightening bugs. You can hear the Loon's at night, see Bald Eagles land, and experience the Deer grazing. You want to experience what the ultimate lake life is all about, this is the best place to make memories. Boat on the lake during the day, and prepare amazing meals at night in the Chef's kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of nature, and taken in what it's like to take nature walks right in the backyard. Bonfires, and lake vacations at its best. Bring the boat plenty of parking with no issues.
