Beautiful property in the perfect location

We loved our stay at the cabin. It’s such a great spot with a view of the lake and terrific proximity to Bigfork, Polson and many other areas. The cabin itself is so perfect! It has everything you need and is so comfortable! Our family of 5 fit perfectly.

Reunion at Flathead Lake

A lovely place and location. Good proximity to the Yellow Bay State Park. The wild turkeys were a bonus on our last morning. And the horseshoe pits were used … a lot.

Perfect getaway

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4- and there would have been room for the kids to each bring a friend too! Close enough to town for shopping and take out but with a secluded relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!

Stunning property

Gorgeous views from the front porch. My husband and toddler stayed here while visiting family that lives down the street. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evenings after spending the day on the lake. Will return in the future!

The Perfect Flathead Lake Getaway

Our family’s four-day stay at this property exceeded all of our expectations. The cabin is rustic in feel but completely updated, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It’s conveniently located an hour from Glacier and Whitefish and just a 10 minute walk from Yellow Bay on Flathead Lake. And the panoramic views of the lake from the deck of the cabin can’t be beat.

Awesome relaxing weekend

Excellent view, watched deer come up through the yard, had fun playing horse shoes with our kids and loved that the lodge didn't have a TV! 👍. We had an awesome time as a family and hope to get back again. Thank you for making this property available for people to enjoy.

Beautiful Log Cabin

This beautifully restored log cabin is located in a quiet rural setting. It was clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but it cools off nicely in the evenings with the windows open. There is a great view of the lake from the front porch.

So much more than we expected!

We had the time of our lives at this property! There was a laminated sheet on the counter with activities and restaurants in the area that we referred to all week. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire each night and cooking on the grill. It is the perfect location with beautiful views of the lake and a very short walk to a public beach at the state park campground. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would 100% book here again.

Very nice and quiet.

We thought we would be a little closer to the water so was some what disappointed by that. But the house was lovely and in wonderful condition and the location on the hill side was perfect. The town of Big Fork is worth spending the day shopping and having a nice lunch. It is a bit of a drive to Glacier but it is spectacular! To the owner, thanks so much for sharing wonderful log cabin.

A Little Piece of Paradise

We had a wonderful time! The property was exactly as listed and absolutely beautiful! George stopped by on day one to welcome us. He was absolutely fantastic about keeping us apprised of the fire at the lake, not only letting us know about the road closures and smoke, but also reaching out to let us know some rain had helped and the smoke was clearing. My husband and I hope to come back next year! We highly recommend this property! It’s gorgeous, peaceful, has a view of the lake and wonderful owners who make your stay a perfect one!

Log Cabin Retreat

We enjoyed the 5-acre property nestled between a cherry orchard and facing beautiful Flathead Lake. The view from the cabin was breathtaking with wonderful sunset vistas of the Lake. I would definitely be aware that there are bears close by. We didn't see any but plenty of scat in the yard and on driveway. The fire pit and gazebo were nice additions along with the firepit and grill & patio furniture on deck. The cabin was vintage and being a horse owner, I felt right at home with the decor. I am so glad we were able to enjoy the vrbo. And so close to restaurants and Big Fork shopping. We did a lot of sight-seeing including Glacier National Park and coming back to the cabin was the perfect end of a long day. I definately would come back.

Beautiful fall retreat

What a special place in a spectacular location. We enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage around Flathead Lake and the impressive mountain views. Our favorite area to hike was the Jewel Basin - in particular the Mt. Aeneas Summit Trail. We also took an easier hike on the Holland Lake and waterfall trail. Enjoyed delicious meals and drinks in nearby Big Fork -- Schafer's for dinner, Pocketstone Cafe for breakfast, beers at Flathead Lake Brewing Company and spirits at Whistling Andy's Distillery. The lodge has an interesting history and has been beautifully restored to honor it's history while providing all needed modern amenities. The claw footed tub was a luxury. The woodburning fireplace provided cozy warmth and the views from the front of the lodge are impressive. We spent our evenings dreaming of retiring to a place like this. Just wonderful.

Beautiful retreat in the cherry orchard

As we drove up the lane, we knew we were in for a relaxing few days. Everything was perfect. The house, the property, the lake view, the weather (we got lucky!). This is the place to come to unplug and enjoy. But don’t worry…you don’t have to unplug completely. The Internet works great. Although historical, the lodge is very clean, updated, and had everything we needed for our stay. Every morning started with a walk with our pup through the orchard and ended with a campfire in the front yard. Don’t go to bed too early. The stars put on an incredible show! I can’t recommend this place enough. After our stay, we both feel completely refreshed and reset. Thank you!

Very nice all around

When looking to vacation by Flathead Lake we chose this property because of the old fashioned appearance that appealed to us and our children, & it being more affordable than other listings. We found the location great, it was tucked away from the highway with a gorgeous view of the lake. We liked that it was a bit in between both Polson & Big Fork. The chirping of the birds and views were relaxing & stunning. A few times we walked up and down the long lane for walks. We enjoyed grilling & a couple camp fires. The cabin was well kept up. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay here again. The only little minor complaint we have is that the plug for the sink was a little frustrating when trying to wash the dishes because it did not hold the water in well. 6 of us (Husband, wife, & 4 of our kids) stayed here and found that it was roomy enough and we never felt congested when we were all in the cabin. Highly recommend! 5+ star rating!

It was the absolute best place to spend our honeymoon!! It was a total surprise for my wife, and she could not have been happier. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The things that caught my eye when booking were the front porch, the fire pit, the clawfoot tub, and the best of all, the amazing sunsets. We spent two days going up into Glacier and the other days exploring Hungry Horse Dam and other areas around the lake. I wish we had turned up the water heater, it wasnt quite enough to fill the tub before turning cold. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking. We plan on coming back with the family. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful cabin!!!

Beautiful old log cabin, serene setting, and close to Bigfork

The old log cabin was amazing with its original hand hewn floors, an amazing/giant clawfoot tub, and antique stove/oven. The grounds around the cabin and view of Flathead Lake were so peaceful with lovely sunsets. I spent a lot of time in Bigfork and surrounding areas, including Glacier National Park and Swan Lake, which is smaller and warmer than Flathead with a lovely public park. The property managers were great and responded to questions right away. I'd definitely stay again.

Beautiful Cabin Getaway

An incredibly beautiful restored cabin was a perfect home base for our family vacation to Glacier National Park. Started each day with a coffee and beautiful view of Flathead Lake. Closed each day relaxing in the very comfortable cabin or by the fire pit. The hosts were very kind and checked to be sure that we had everything we needed. A great experience that we hope to get to do again in the future!

Highly recommended cabin

Immediately upon opening the door to this delightful cabin, it is apparent that it was designed by an Architect and deorated by a designer; form followed function. Everything is either beautiful or useful and most are both.
