Low Quality/Not a Legal VRBO

Place is good not great. No lightbulbs in the lights, very very cheap furniture, very few of the normal accessories you would expect, like dishes (they exist, but are few). No dish soap to run the dishwasher, very low quality linen and towels, etc. All this is less concerning than the fact that building management made it clear to us that there was something illegal about the owner subletting the space--they were nice to us, but it's not a legal VRBO.
