This listing is for Cabin 5 with all campground amenities. Cabin 5 is a standard rental and comes with 1 King Bed with sheets, blankets, and pillows. Also included are a floor fan, electricity, portable heater, concrete floors with wood walls and wood ceiling.

Pioneer Campgrounds is an 11 acre campground located in Hatfield, AR with direct access to Twomile Creek. Events have included Boy Scout Camping (weeklong and weekend), Family Reunions, Weddings, Graduation Parties, Conventions, and Business Meetings. Guests can enjoy hiking, swimming in the creek, relaxing in the common area, laying in a hammock, or quiet time in their own personal cabin.

We provide cornhole boards and bags, and other board games for guests. Our common area is available for all guests and includes a large dining area with tables and chairs. Other amenities include a large kitchen/cooking area with refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, ovens, and coffee makers. Vending and ice machines are also available with washer, dryer and dishwasher with dishwashing sink.

Pioneer Campgrounds was created from an old summer camp that closed in 2019 due to the pandemic. It has become the ideal place for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, and mountain camping.

Why they chose this property


Pioneer Campgrounds has direct access to Twomile Creek and sits at the highest point of the old Camp Pioneer. It has great views of Rich Mountain from the Back Deck.

What makes this property unique

Pioneer Campgrounds was created from the old Camp Pioneer Boy Scout camp established in 1916. Thousands of scouts and scouters from all over the world camped at this property and learned valuable life skills and made many friends.
