This cozy getaway is 3 miles from Sand Valley, Lake Arrowhead and beautiful Lake Petenwell. Come relax after a full day of golf, hunting, fishing, a day at the lake, or navigating the nearby ATV trails. Take a day trip to the Wisconsin Dells, which is only 45 minutes away!
This is a large, wooded property where the quiet can be deafening. The outdoor space includes a fire pit (lots of wood available) and chairs for relaxing and taking it all in. You can also fire up the grill and casually dine outside at the picnic table.
Inside, you will find a newly remodeled interior with central heating, A/C, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, washer/dryer, and numerous USB ports. The tankless hot water heater ensures lots of hot water! The basement sports another smart TV with recliners, a sofa, and a high-top table for puzzles or card games.
The garage has space for your toys or vehicle, plus pool and Pop-a-Shot games.
Be sure to keep an eye out for visiting deer or turkeys at dawn and dusk!

Quiet setting

An amazing space for family to spend time near Lake Petenwell. The house was even better than the photos show. Cute, clean & a well stocked kitchen made it easy to eat in a few meals. A very comfy living room for a movie or a few games. If you’re looking for something just the right size slightly off the beaten path, this is it! We look forward to returning to the area.

Perfect for us.

The property was perfect for our long weekend. It accommodated our fishing and golf plans. The home was very clean and fully updated. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, and basic necessities. The living room and lower-level family room was spacious and met all our needs. Internet allowed us to stay in touch and watch TV and movies at night. Would definitely stay here again. Susie was great to work with and met all our requests. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable.

Winter Ice Fishing Expedition

Each year we attend the Hardwater Freaks veterans fishing event on Lake Pentenwell. In years past we have stayed on the lake in our shelters but decided to upgrade this year by renting a house. We found this property real convenient to the Lure Bar and it was very clean, nice ambiance, well taken care off and they provided many little touches like it was your home. Our host Sussie, was very communicative via the Vrbo app. We are booking it for next years event and maybe even a trip this summer to do some trail riding! Thanks again Sussie!

Joe and I are native Kansans. Our daughter's family moved up several years ago and have made Rome, WI their home. We love the central Wisconsin area and all that it has to offer, so we are here often to see our kids and to take in the golf, lakes, and peace and quiet.

Why they chose this property

We love this space for the "remote" location at the end of a quiet street, with lots of green space front and back. We often see deer or turkeys in the yard in the early morning or at dusk. It gets so quiet.

What makes this property unique

The house is at the end of the street in a quiet neighborhood. There is a convenient circle drive for easy in and out. The large front and back yard is mowed with additional wooded area out back. The night time view of the stars is amazing.
