Renovated 2-bedroom pool home- near airport, beach and Las Olas Blvd.

This 1950’s old Florida pool home has recently been renovated and newly decorated with a midcentury style furniture featuring original hardwood floors, king size bed in the master bedroom, and queen size bed on the 2nd bedroom, and full-size sleeper sofa. Centrally located near downtown Fort Lauderdale close to the beach, Las Olas, Hard Rock, airport, seaport, train station, and convention center. The Zen-like backyard adorns a large swimming pool, synthetic grass with putting green, fire pit, BBQ grill, water feature, and tropical landscaping with night lighting. This beautiful cottage welcomes you to lush, well-lit grounds, a private driveway for up to four vehicles to a covered front porch entrance. No pets allowed. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to additional fees and must be requested 24-hours in advance. A valid government issued photo-ID is required for ALL registered guests not including minor children. ID’s must be received via app messages prior to guest receiving door entry code/instructions.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Remove pool toys, floats and any items from the pool.

Return furniture, indoor and outdoor, to its original position.

Black (garbage) waste container pickups are Tuesday and Friday mornings. Blue (recyclables) waste container pickups is Friday only. Green (yard) waste container pickup is Tuesday only.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

ALL guests must be registered and provide a valid government-issued photo-ID excluding minor children.

NEVER leave children unattended in or near the pool. NO PARTIES. Quiet times are 10pm to 7am. Excessive noise will result in cancellation of stay.

Early check-in and late check-out fees are $25 per hour. Must be approved in advance.

The perfect getaway! Charming cottage was fully loaded with everything we needed and then you step out back to paradise. Such a great setting to relax. Easy access to all the places we love in Ft Lauderdale. Hope there is vacancy next time we visit!

Pool was great, however the vacuum was left in the entire stay, even after being serviced midway through. An exterminator came back also midway through, saying he was looking for termites, but on the last night of our stay, we found what may be a roach. This was an isolated occurrence and may have come in from off the street. On a quiet street and it was easy to get around the area from.

The Blue Lotus cottage is well located in a quite neighbourhood a short drive from the riverwalk and the beach. The house it lovely and the grounds immaculate. Great place to spend a week!

Cottage is small but awesome backyard makes it seem much larger- covered patio, swimming pool, putting green, grill, and lounge chairs make it an outstanding rental, convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay again.

This quaint old Florida home built in 1952, retains its original floor plan, barrel tiled roof, and hardwood floors. Its old-world charm meets new world upgrades to form exquisite character inside and out. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee and evening glass of wine in the cozy front porch. The tropical like backyard hosts a large swimming pool, surrounded by luscious foliage, mature trees, synthetic grass and a putting green. Comfortable lounge seating under a covered pergola, sunny chaise lounges with umbrella are poolside and relaxing Adirondack chairs next to a gas firepit and the Buddha water feature will help you connect to nature and relax. A large BBQ gas grill is available for the outdoor Chef in you.
