You will find our Apartment Resort Hackenschmiede in a beautiful, natural location in the middle of the Lungau mountains. Both in summer and winter, this is the ideal place to relax, unwind or do sports. In our cozy and fully equipped luxury apartments you will find many amenities so that you can really enjoy your vacation with us. The large garden offers plenty of space for children or social barbecues, an in-house tennis court is available free of charge. Our infrared cabin in *** s Landhaus guarantees you a relaxing and soothing refreshment after every physical activity.

Our apartment resort has a total of nine apartments (four apartments in the **** residence, three apartments in the *** country house and two apartments in the *** holiday home). We present four apartments on this platform as an example, whereby there is the apartment type 'Teichrose' in the **** Residenz three times (apartment for four people).

Skiing opportunities: The **** Residenz, the *** Landhaus and the *** Ferienhaus zur Hackenschmiede are at the foot of the Großeck-Speiereck ski area. If you want to go to the world-famous Obertauern ski area - no problem - a 2-minute walk from your apartment will take you to the ski bus free of charge in a few minutes. They can also be transported quickly and free of charge to the Katschberg or Fanningberg ski areas!

Mauterndorf in summer: this is where the holiday begins, 1000 meters above everyday life. The historic village of Mauterndorf, nestled between the lower Tauern and the Nockberge, is in the Lungau holiday region.

Very nice apartment

Komfortable Unterkunft in einem beschaulichen und gemütlichen Ort

Wir haben die Tage in der Hackenschmiede sehr genossen. Praktisch war auch die zugehörige Lungaukarte für die Bergbahnen und den Burgbesuch. Die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten auch wenn es mal regnet. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Vermieter wie auch die Leute im Ort sind überaus freundlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Great activities and accommodation

Found the Hackenschmiede apartments after an Internet search so I was a bit apprehensive about whether the town would have enough 'excitement factor' but Wilma was very helpful with requests for information about activities to keep two teenage boys busy. Mauterndorft is a great location for things to do. In a few days we managed mountain walking on the Speiereck, e-biking twice (makes cycling fun for those who don't really like hills), gliding, white water rafting and swimming in the lido, as well as a lovely spa day for my wife in St. Michael. Apartments are spacious and very modern. Fresh rolls delivered every morning. Mauterndorf has plenty to restaurants and pubs. Looking forward to a return trip one winter for the skiing. P.S. if you fly via Salzburg don't miss a visit to the global Red Bull Museum at Hangar 7 next to the airport. It's free and really impressive if you love cool adrenaline machines.

Wir möchten uns auf diese Weise ganz herzlich bei den Gastgebern für den wunderschönen Urlaub in Ihrem Haus bedanken. Uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen, so dass wir für nächstes Jahr schon wieder bei der Planung sind. Gerne können wir Ihre Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, es gab sogar Brötchenservice und kostenlosen Internetzugang. Man kann hier sehr schön Urlaub machen. Zum Skigebiet führt ein wunderschöner Wanderweg oder man nimmt den Skibus, der in der Nähe der Ferienwohnung hält.

Toller Winterurlaub in stilvollem Ambiente

Eine Woche lang durften wir zu viert das mit 2 Schlafzimmern ausgestattete Appartment Blumenwiese genießen. Bereits von außen machte die Residenz einen schicken Eindruck. Die Architektur kombiniert modernes Design mit regionaltypischen Elementen. Nach freundlichem Empfang durch die Eigentümer geht es im Glasanbau per Aufzug oder moderner Treppe in die Wohnetage, nicht ohne ein Blick über das schöne Mauterndorf freizugeben. Die Hackenschmiede und die Residenz liegen direkt am Fluß unterhalb der Burg in bester Lage des Ortes. Nach Öffnen der Eingangstüre, für die jeder Bewohner eine eigene Keycard enthält, befindet man sich im gemeinsamen Wohn/Eßraum mit Edelausstattung. Die hochwertige Küche verfügt nicht nur über jeglichen Komfort und alle Gerätschaften, auch die vielen Kleinigkeiten wie Spülmittel, Gewürze, Mülltüten, etc., die man gerne vergißt, waren bereits alle vorhanden. Mindestens genauso eindrucksvoll ist der Blick aus dem Panoramafenster in die verschneite Winterlandschaft des Lungaus. Ledersofa, WLAN(kostenfrei) und 3 Flatscreens mit großer Programmauswahl sollten die Gäste allerdings nicht davon abhalten, den schönen Ort näher kennenzulernen. Streichholzziehen, wer den besseren Schlafraum bekommt, ist überflüssig. Beide Räume sind gleichwertig ausgestattet und verfügen je über ein hochwertiges und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Bad mit separatem WC. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die Natursteinsäulen in den Wohn- und Schlafräumen sowie die aus alten Scheunendielen gefertigten Bettgestelle. Die Betten selbst verfügen über komfortable Matrazen und Bettdecken mit Überlänge, die von größeren Personen besonders geschätzt werden. Brötchen werden jeden Morgen per Beutel auf Bestellung an die Haustüre geliefert. Der Skikeller enthält einen beheizten Ständer zum Trocknen der Schuhe. Für die Saunafreunde steht im Nachbarhaus eine kleine aber gut heizende Saunakabine zur Verfügung, die man bei den Vermietern reservieren kann. Wir waren bereits zu 6. oder 7. Mal in Mauterndorf. Die Freundlichkeit der Leute, der historische Ortskern und die eindrucksvolle Burg wären bereits Grund genug, um immer wiederzukommen. Als begeisterte Skifahrer besuchen wir je nach Wetter- und Schneelage auch gerne die Skipisten am Katschberg, Fanning und in Obertauern. Fazit: Offizielle Einstufung 4 Sterne. Von uns gibt es aber 5 Sterne wegen tollem Design, Superlage und Vermietern, die sich in die Rolle der Urlauber hineingedacht haben.

Landhaus*** und Residenz**** zur Hackenschmiede

We had a fantastic relaxing week in the apartman Thomas of Landhaus Hackenschmiede. the apartman was very clean and well equiped, we had everythnig in the kitchen too. It was very comfortable and big. The owners were very kind, they could help in everything. We could live our ski equipments in a ski depot, it was comfortable too. We got the breads and rolls on early morning, it is a big help during a ski holiday!. The sauna was very good for relaxing! And the panorama from the apartman was amazing, we were looking the castle of Mauterndorf during the night. So we can suggest Landhaus zur Hackenschmiede for everyone and of course we really would like to go back within 2 years, maybe next year.

Ferienwohnung Wolfgang Objekt Hackenschmiede

Die Ferienwohnung wurde von uns mit 4 Personen für 1 Woche gemietet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundliche u. hilfsbereite Leute. Die Größe , Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung entsprach unseren Vorstellungen, ausreichende Möglichkeiten zur Unterbringung aller Sachen und der Wintersportausrüstung vorhanden. Brötchenservic schon am frühen Morgen ,das erreichen des 1.Skibussen somit ohne Probleme möglich. Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Burg und Rodelbahn.,das Zentrum nur wennige Schritte entfernt, Skibushaltestelle nicht weit vom Haus. Wir können die Ferienwohnung und das Objekt nur weiter empfehlen, Wir waren rundum zufrieden Ingeburg u. Karl - Heinz

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Wir waren schon mehrmals in Mauterndorf. Apartement war sehr gepflegt, groß und Preis/Leistung sehr in Ordnung. Es war alles vorhanden. Informationsmappe enthielt alle wichtigen Unterlagen und Informationen. Gleich nebem dem Haus gibt es eine Rodelbahn. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber gleich in der Nähe der Skibushaltestelle und der Burg, wo man ausgezeichnet essen kann.

Appartements zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben sowohl Sommerurlaub alsauch einiger Winterurlaube bei Wilma und Wolfgang verbracht und uns immer wieder aufgrund der herzlichen Gastfreundschaft sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Sommer unternahmen wir von Mauterndorf aus herrliche Wanderungen oder abends einfach schöne Spaziergänge durch den malerischen Ort. Heuer im März verbrachten wir nach einigen Jahren "Pause" wieder eine schöne Zeit in der Hackenschmiede. In der geräumigen, sehr gepflegten Ferienwohnung mit bequemen Betten, mit Blick auf die Burg einerseits und auf die neu errichtete und nachts schön beleuchtete Residenz sowie den neu gestalteten Garten andererseits und dem gewohnten Brötchenservice, blieben kaum noch Wünsche übrig. Optimale Voraussetzungen für einen stressfreien Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Ski 2.holiday in mart 2011

Stayed in the Teichrose appartment for 7 nights. Lovely views and apartment has everything you could wish for even to the point of maps, guides, day trip info etc etc. Wilma (the owner) and Wolfgang could not have been more helpful. I can honestly say we have never received the level of attention to detail or welcome that they provide even in first class hotels. The apartment is perfect for families, very cosy. The ski free bus stops near. I would recommend this residence as it is absolutely lovely and Leysin.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Das Appartement Teichrose lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Möbeleinrichtung ist geschmackvoll und hochwertig. Bodentiefe Fenster machen die Räume hell. WLAN und 3 (!) Fernseher sorgen für die nötige Unterhaltung. Selbst im Bad sind Lautsprecher. Die Küche ist komplett. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und mit top Betten ausgestattet. Die Lage des Hauses ist am Ortsrand. Es ist sehr ruhig und mit dem Bachlauf beinahe schon idyllisch. Der Ortskern ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Vor dem Haus verläuft ein schöner beleuchteter Winterwanderweg, über den das Skizentrum in 15 Minuten erreicht werden kann. Die Wohnung ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Top-Appartements im ehemaligen Stallgebäude!

Der freundliche Empfang (Herr Rest ließ es sich nicht nehmen, unser Gepäck eigenhändig vom Auto mittels Trolley {!!} und Aufzug {!!} ins Appartement zu bringen) – die gediegene Einrichtung (geschmackvoll, zeitlos-rustikal-elegant mit einigen technischen Schmankerln) – die hochwertige Kücheneinrichtung – phantastisch ruhige Lage – herrlicher Blick auf den liebevoll gepflegten Garten mit Schwimmteich und die prächtige Landschaft: was will man mehr?! Es gibt vermutlich nicht viele Appartements von Privatvermietern, die sich mit der Residenz Hackenschmiede messen können. Es war jedenfalls (mit kleinen Einschränkungen, die aber ausschließlich das Wetter betreffen) ein gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub wie bei Freunden: Wir kommen gerne wieder!

1-A-Traumlocation in Mauterndorf-Österreich!

Das Landhaus und die Residenz zur Hackenschmiede sind zwei wirklich erstklassige und ortsnahe Unterkünfte für alle Liebhaber Österreichs, die eine unvergessliche Zeit in diesem Land erleben möchten! Die Unterkünfte sind sehr modern und hochwertig ausgestattet und bieten in Kombination mit der Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber ein perfektes Ambiente, um den Sommer- oder Winterurlaub in einer absoluten 1-A-Traumlocation zu verbringen!!! Neben einem umfangreichen Skiangebot (Skigebiet Grosseck - Speiereck) bietet die Lage in Mauterndorf viele weitere Freizeitmöglichkeiten, welche keine Wünsche offen lassen. Abschließend muss noch gesagt werden, dass den Gästen nicht nur einen sehr herzlicher und freundlicher Service geboten wird, sondern vor allem auch ein ausgesprochen faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Landhaus zur Hackenschmiede

Wir fahren seid über 40 Jahren in den Lungau nach Mauterndorf ins Landhaus zur Hackenschmiede. Dort Wird man bestens betreut.Die Skilifte sind gut zu erreichen (Skibus) und im Skigeschäft findet man alles was man benötigtum das tolle Skigebiet zu erkunden.Im Sommer kann man schöne Wanderungen machen und die Vermieter sind sehr auf das Wohl ihrer Gäste bedacht.Man fühlt sich einfach wohl am Schwimmteich oder auf dem Tennisplatz.Es war für uns immer ein gelungener Urlaub.Also nichs wie hin ! Für jeden geeignet ob Singel oder Familie.
