We are husband and wife, Darren & Kivilcim (Kivi). Darren is originally from West Sussex in the United Kingdom, and Kivi is from Karsiyaka, Izmir. We split our time mainly between our homes in Istanbul and Cesme. We are glad to offer our unique villa to you so you can experience the delights & charms of the Turkish Aegean.
Why they chose this property
Cesme is unique and special in many ways. The breezes temper the climate, so it is warm but rarely exhaustingly hot through the summer.
The beaches are in all directions (literally 360º) and are varied: white sand or rock pools (for snorkelling), public or club, tranquil or party, restful or sporty, calm or windy.
The region is steeped in 1,000s or years of history. The land of Homer, of Lydians, of Ionia, of Alexander the Great, Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans.
We are ideally placed to explore the lanes of Alacati, the thermal springs in Ilica, the ruins of Ildiri (Erythrai), the olive museum at Uzunkuyu, or the vineyards and wine tasting around Urla.
