In addition to sheep, ponies, horses, donkeys and various poultry, Udenbreth also houses 4 camels in the neighborhood. Udenbreth makes the hearts of nature and hiking enthusiasts and mountain bikers beat faster. The Eifel hiking trail runs right outside the front door, taking guests through fir and mixed forests and through beautiful valleys. You can reach the Bütgenbach reservoir and the Konenburger See in just 15 minutes by car. In Heimbach am Rurstausee you can take a rental canoe into the water, explore well-marked hiking trails, take advantage of climbing, swimming, beach volleyball, tennis and soccer, or enjoy a relaxed boat trip on the Rursee. In winter, the Weisser Stein ski area (500m away) offers great winter sports opportunities: various trails, a ski and a toboggan lift. Skis can be rented on site.
