My friend and I went away for a mom's getaway, "Free your soul" cabin was the best for just that. The owner was great and the cabin was prefect. This is be our new hide away! Thank you for the great hospitality and service.
This is a very nice place, great location close to the Beaver Bend National Park .
Great quiet location and close to many local coffee, resteraunts and brewerys
The cabin was as described and clean. The sleeper sofa is broken so if you planned on using it, you will have to just sleep in the sofa. Otherwise house was great.

Both fire places did not work
Listing showed and stated two gas fires places. The fire places especially the one near hot tub was the deciding factor for picking the cabin. Called and texted the number listed and messaged on VRBO. No response from property manger why gas was turned off or fire places wase not able to be used. A small electric fireplace heater was placed in front of living room gas fireplace.

not exactly what we wanted
first of all let me say the cabin was clean inside. we were met with a note from the management saying "dishwasher broke, do not use, leave dishes in sink and we will clean them", and the ice maker in the fridge was even on or working. we were not expecting the cabin to be so close to other cabins, there were cabins on top of cabins with more being built. the gravel rode had everything covered in dust and the firepit is right next to the gravel road. we have gone through VRBO for years for our vacations, and sorry to say, this is the first time we were disappointed.
Honestly the cabin was alright, but when we discovered blood on the sheets while stripping the bed on our last night, that was the final straw. The lack of communication (us and VRBO) from the property owner during and after the stay lead to this review. Most of the draw was the hot tub, which was unusable due to a dead animal somewhere within. This happens and would be acceptable, but no response from the owner is unacceptable. After several attempts to get an answer, nothing. The dried blood on the sheets and mattress after sharing pictures and unwillingness to respond have turned me off to ever using this company or cabin again.
We had an awesome time. We would have like having a broom/ basic cleaning items. We ran out of chlorine but Terry was aware Overall we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.
We had a great stay. The cabin has a great patio with a hot tub, a fireplace, table and chairs, and cornhole. The bed was very comfortable. The living room and bedroom have large TVs. The cabin was clean and in great shape.
We would stay at the cabin again.
A few items to note: As you start to reserve the cabin, you'll find that you're encouraged to buy the damage insurance, otherwise, you have to pay a large damage deposit in advance that isn't returned to you until about 2 weeks after your stay. The cabin's bathroom mats probably need to be replaced. They smelled somewhat like mildew. Shower soap and shampoo are NOT provided in the bathroom.
