Okay we enjoyed the house it’s cute ! It’s a 5 minute drive to the lake expect traffic on busy sunny days . The windows in The house DO NOT OPEN . I think two maybe three proper open but no fans no circulation of air in the kitchen . This is important if you’re trying to cook. There isn’t propane provided for the grill or the fire pit . The grill is barely a grill so if you’re looking to cook for ten people maybe bring another propane grill with you if possible ? The property is cute the WiFi worked well . The front window was cracked when we got there . All in all a great spot to go if you’re looking to explore grand lake for a couple days but bring your own fan .
Wonderful, cabin heat kept us cozy, outside area very enjoyful
Access to RMNP and the lake awesome. Disappointed the dishwasher was nonfunctional and living room fireplace had an awful smell causing us to turn it off.
Our stay was short but pleasant! The house was wonderful. We had 4 adults and 2 teens for an overnight stay before going into the Rocky Mountain National Forest the next day. Grand Lake was a great “little” town to explore for dinner and to grab basics for stocking the kitchen. Unlike other visitors, we didn’t see any wildlife around the house. Would definitely stay here again and for a longer time!
Loved this cozy cabin for a weekend stay back to IL from WY with my sister’s family and my husband. We wanted our nephews to see beautiful Grand Lake and RMNP and this place was a lovely cabin right outside the park in Grand Lake. Thanks for the stay!
This cabin was a great place to stay-close to town and all the activities. It sits a little way from the road, so it was super quiet at night. It has been totally updated with new appliances, furniture and bedroom sets. Really loved the outdoor pit.

We were disapointed that the description in the listing did not match the rooms. It was our understanding that there were 2 sets of bunk beds in the 3rd room and we found out that there was only 1 set. It worked out in the long run. But it would have been easier with the 2 sets. Also there are some broken boards on the walkway at the front door. Considering the fact that my husband is disabled it made it hard for him. There were a few times that he almost fell. We loved the porch on the side of the house as it gave us a shaded area to sit and visit with friends who were staying nearby. There was an issue with the lights. Whenever someone turned on a light in one room the rest of the lights dimmed. This also seemed to happen when the toilet flushed or the shower was on. It didn't cause any real issues but it was strange.I would suggest putting a pitcher in the kitchen. We wanted to make iced tea and lemonade but there was nothing to put it in.
We didn't feel that the experience was very private due to cameras being everywhere outside and on the front door. We also had a fire start while we were sleeping because the fire place would not shut off. It filled the entire house full of smoke and there werent any batteries in the smoke alarms. It caught insulated bubs on fire. the picture online showed two sets of bunkbeds when there was only one. We also had to clear the snow to be able to pull in to the driveway with the sled trailer.and didnt get that done until 11pm. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We are only telling you this so it can be improved for next time.
The adorable cabin had everything we needed as a base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. It was comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and easy to use appliances. We had one question during our stay and a quick text to the property manager gave us all the information we needed. If you have a smaller car, just be aware that you'll need to be careful of the driveway. It's gravel and has some substantial holes (we had an SUV and didn't have any issues). Overall, exactly what we expected and made it so easy to get into the park!
Check in procese was very difficult. Spent an hour trying to figure out the lock. Owner was not responsive. Lots of bugs in the house, could not sleep entire night.
We had a wonderful vacation at this property very close to grand lake. We saw two deer in the front yard 15 minutes after we got there. The next day we saw 3 Moose (don't get close)! The covered porch was great to sit under, next to the fire, and keep dry when it rained. We went on a half day pontoon boat ride on the lake and caught a trout for lunch. The character of the cabin is very friendly and had all the necessary "creature comforts".
Rent this place - you will be glad you did!
We had an amazing time here. Two of us discussed how the home is a lot larger than it seems in the pictures. Definitely a great place to host a group of people. Large dining table, plenty of beds, and a nice living area. The only thing we noticed was that some of the dishes in the cabinets/drawers didn’t appear to be clean - but that can just be a product of the hard water up there running through the dishwasher. We only stayed one night, so I’m not sure if it’s the dishwasher or not. That being said, I would definitely bring a group here again!
The location is very convenient to entering rocky mountain national park on foot (1.5 miles) or a short drive. Moose in driveway day 1 was excellent. This VRBO was accurately priced for its amenities and location. The pictures of what beds were in what rooms could be better clarified in the written description. It looked as if two sets of bunk beds were in one room, one room had a queen, and one room had a queen and single bed. The actual arrangement was a little different. It could be noted that 8 people could comfortably stay here, but if two people were willing to share a small sofa pullout, then 10 was possible. It was hard to find some cleaning supplies, but we did eventually locate the broom. The yard and outside seating was nice. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
What a disaster.
The good: easy check in. Nice layout of house. Very clean. Pretty well equipped (would recommend to add a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet)
The bad:
1) They arranged for a photographer who showed up a couple hours after we checked in. He refused to go away, told us the property wasn’t supposed to be rented that day and that there was no particular time he was to have arrived. Then he proceeded to ask us to clear the rooms so he could take pictures for a listing. Weird right?!
2) We were lied to. Either by the pushy a-hole photographer, the property manager and/or owner who swore he was supposed to show up @2. I really don’t appreciate being lied to.
3) the water shuts off on the middle of my kiddos shower the first night. The plumber was supposed to arrive the next am. We thought we had to wait. Anyway, TL:DR we found out at 7pm we still had no running water and had to scramble to find a new place to stay on 2nd of what was supposed to be a 3 night stay.
We were canceled and refunded; found a tiny, overpriced cabin in grand lake for the night. Grateful to our Breckenridge Vrbo for allowing us to come a day early.
Great cabin, very roomy even with 9 of us. Two bathrooms with showers. Covered patio area with chairs and firepit.
If/when we return to Colorado would consider this property again.
I would stay at this property again.

The property was great. Covered porches when it rained and open porches when the sun came out. Located for easy activities. Everything we needed to be comfortable.
we actually had several house but were together at meals. Would go back.
Great little cabin for our family-4 adults, 2 young children (3 & 6), and 2 dogs. The property was perfect for the kids and dogs to play outside in the snow. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed to prepare meals. Comfortable and homey living spaces and great location. Beds we’re comfortable and cozy. Owner was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to our questions.
