Worst VRBO experiences we've had
This house seemed perfect for 5 of us for a week, including two 83 year old mothers. We did not have a good experience at all. Among the issues:
To start, linens on master bed were stained significantly hen we arrived. We had to wash them before sleeping in bed first night.
Furniture - sparse at best, there was barely enough for the 5 of us to sit and watch TV. It was not particularly comfortable. One of the chairs was broken and not usable. The couch in one room was very hard and unusable.
Washing machine – the soap dispenser never emptied, thus clothing never fully cleaned.
Oven- the broiler does not work.
Master bath – the shower head attachment is flimsy and fell out regularly. Even when it was not falling out, it sprays against the wall and not the person in shower. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, odd given the instructions to keep windows closed due to humidity.
Grill – there was no gas so it was inoperable.
Back doors – lock was hard to work and there were no instructions for usage.
Can opener – was also broken and inoperable.
This property also has a sunken living room, not ideal for seniors.
Understand that nobody is going to put their "sunday best" in a VRBO, but this stay was a challenge from the moment we arrived with basics not working well.
