Great place to stay close to St FX

Great host! This two bedroom out building on a small farm is located 20 minutes from Antigonish is a fabulous find. Clean very comfortable furniture and beds. BBQ on deck. Great space for a family to stay while visiting ST FX university.

Awesome place

We absolutely loved our stay, we hated to leave. The owner Martin and his family were so kind and always had a smile. The pig roast we were invited to was so yummy. We hope to return again it's beautiful.

Great place to relax

The scenery here was unreal and The owners were very accommodating and available if there were any issues which there were none. I would highly recommend this for your stay in this area.

Stay in Goshen

This cottage is a wonderful place to stay with the quiet hills and amazing views. The owner was very attentive although no issues came up. I would highly recommend this place for any travellers.

Cosy place and beautiful landscape

All was perfect! The owner is friendly, the place is clean, quiet and cozy, and the landscape is beautiful! We visited the Sherbrooke village at 30 km, and the attraction we have impressed us.

Accommodations were great everything was there that was needed waking up seeing the horses so close by was beautiful..Martin and his family were very accommodating there were hosting a pig roast and we were welcolmed by all .It was amazing ...we will sure to be back

Bucolic!

Off the beaten path but worth the trip. The house was perfect, the view spectacular, and we enjoyed the animals, especially watching the horses in the field. We would come again if it wasn't so far from PA!

Total peace and quiet!

From the directions given, this property would be difficult to find, but using Google Maps, it is simple. Obtain the address first, and you will find a wonderful oasis! The cabin we had is very well appointed, with a super comfortable king-sized bed. The host, Martin, has a great sense of humour and is very willing to share info about his cattle, horses, and miniature donkey. We were gently greeted by two large (!) Great Danes with endearing demeanour. I highly recommend a stay at this farm!!

Peaceful Country Getaway

This property is ideal for a very reasonable cost if you are OK with a quiet, serene location. About a half hour from Antigonish on a good, scenic road (pretty lakes and cottages) and 40 mins on paved road to Guysborough. Not sure of distance to beaches, but likely very doable for a day outing. Deck with furniture and view of meadow, horses and forest. IKEA type furnishings. New buildings and wood stove. It is remote (short un-paved driveway into property) but fully equipped for a relaxing getaway.

Joe and Malcolms Fall Fishing Trip

Remote - and just the way we liked it. Directions from Goshen could be improved a little - Fisher Mills Road is not off the main road through Goshen but we found it OK. Property is adjacent to the farm and Martin was there to greet us complete with his great danes, horses and miniature pony and donkey. Property is new and well laid out with everything you need. Ask Martin to show you his forge and the fantastic items he produces (he offers courses in blacksmithing and riding). The stars at night were amazing to sit back and enjoy. Highly recomend this destination to anyone looking for a getaway.

Gorgeous in Goshen

A hidden gem in Goshen! Our host Martin was there to greet us when we arrived. He showed us the property and made sure we had all we needed before returning to his home on the property. Beautiful appointed cottage with deck chairs overlooking great vistas.
