Remote Farm Cabin
Stayed here 4 nights while we were preparing for our wedding so we could have a private location away from the family lake house. The owner was super friendly and even put out decorations prior to our arrival. The location was great. very quiet at night. One of the chickens was really annoying one morning when we were trying to sleep in, but that's to be expected on a farm. We loved the horses and the cat that would come to see us.

This property was a perfect little oasis of quiet! I called Kathryn to let her know I was close. Not only did she meet me as I arrived, but she also had classical music playing and a candle lit in the cottage. There were three sleeping areas upstairs and all were very comfortable. While there, we did see a deer, the two horses, and Kathryn's adorable dogs. There was delicious Maine blueberry ice cream in the freezer as well as ice cubes; eggs, bagels, butter, and jams in the fridge. There was a nice assortment of coffee, teas, and hot chocolate mixes on the counter and also some peanut butter. There were fresh flowers and some chocolate truffles awaiting us on the table. There was no Wifi, but our phones worked just fine. The view was amazing! I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for quiet solitude and you don't mind adventuring off the beaten path.

Gorgeous scenery and two adirondack chairs.
Charming cabin, spacious. Scenery was perfect. My new cat friend kept me company during morning coffee. The horses and rooster added to the feel. I would definately go back.
