The property was very responsive when communicating through the app. We had an issue with the door code and messaged through the app and they fixed it promptly.
There was an issue with animal hair and cleanliness, which was not as urgent of an issue as the door code, so decided to notify the property of the issue via the email communication I received asking how our stay was going. My intent was to inform them of the extraordinary amount of cat hair present on all surfaces in the property (which was a lot considering that I am a cat owner and as such I would expect a property that allows animals to have a minimal amount). Since all renters pay a cleaning fee, I suggested that they may need to confirm the cleanliness prior to check-in and after waiting for a response for over 24 hours I decided to send the same message via the app and a response was promptly received again.
No action was needed as our stay had already ended. I am not saying this was a bad experience, per se, but I did have higher expectations. I would encourage anyone with allergies to pet hair to verify that a deep clean has taken place since February 2024 before booking, which based on my experience with the property owner, I am confident the issue will be addressed.
