Was at the property for a few days of fishing. Great location and very nice alternative to the limited hotels in the area. Spacious property with plenty of room and a very comfortable living room. Excellent choice for a couple guys on a fishing trip.
Beautiful property and absolutely everything we needed. Loved the extra amenities available in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Brooke.
Very nice house. Great communication with the host. Cute decor throughout. It's located within walking distance of both the Erie Canal pathway and the town, I won't hesitate to stay here again when in town.
Extremely welcoming kind and considerate hostess. More than enough and then some more washer and dryer even laundry detergent. The kitchen is ready for a nice meal with everything you would need to prepare it. The bathroom has toiletries and plenty of them I must say they really thought of everything. I would definitely stay there again.
Very nice home and centralized location. Easy check in and check out process. Place was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen had evrything you needed. Highly recommend if you're staying in the area.

Thank you so much for staying with us! I'm glad you had an enjoyable stay!
Very cute place. Perfect for our salmon fishing trip. Very responsive to my questions before our stay. Would just encourage them to consider putting a half bathroom in the mudroom. And maybe a bigger tv. We would definitely stay there again next year.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We are glad you enjoyed your stay :)
This is my fourth or fifth stay at this VRBO in Albion, there is a reason why I stay there- it’s perfect. It has a washer dryer. It has a full kitchen. It’s comfortable, relaxing and quiet. I will definitely stay again in the future.
We traveled from Spokane, Washington to my hometown in New York for a family wedding and have an absolutely wonderful time. It was nice to come back to a peaceful quiet place to sleep and relax after a busy day of sightseeing and visiting family.

Thank you for staying with us again! Glad you had a nice, relaxing stay and visit with family. :)
We had a lovely weekend stay at this simple, but very well decorated rental. Cozy and comfortable space. Host was very accommodating. The spiral staircase (to the bathroom and bedrooms) adds to the historical charm. Highly recommend this location.

About the host
Hosted by Brooke Kemblowski / Peter Kemblowski
Hi! We are Peter and Brooke, your hosts at Lagom Living. We began our VRBO adventure during the hype of Covid. With help from Brooke's Dad and son we renovated the other side of our duplex to be more suitable for guests. Brooke owns a small home + living shop in Brockport, a couple of towns over. Brooke was able to incorporate much of the shops vibe with local art & antique furnishings in the space. The apartment is completely private with separate entrances. You may occasionally see us around, in the garden or walking the dogs. Although we really enjoy meeting people and hosting travelers passing through, we also respect your privacy. Are hope is that you have an enjoyable and relaxing stay with us! Life can be full of hustle and sometimes it's nice to have a peaceful place to rejuvenate, even if it is only for a night and hopefully you will leave here feeling a little more refreshed. We look forward to hosting you!
Why they chose this property
Relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch or gather around our firepit in the backyard at the end of the day. We have everything you need for a memorable getaway. Whether you’re traveling with friends or family, we hope you’ll consider staying with us. Favorite space: Follow the grand staircase up to the second floor and you’ll find a cozy little nook on the landing. Settle in to read a book or look out the window and dream. Start your day with a cup of coffee and some baked goods from Java Joint Coffee. Spend a leisurely afternoon visiting the local shops and antique stores and then stop by the charming ice cream shop, Tinsel, for some sweet treats. We’re just a short walk from the Erie Canal which has lovely paths for walking and biking. You can plan a canal-side bike trip to nearby towns with this bikeeriecanal.com @bikeFriendlyny
