Helen's Hideaway is a great place to either just get away or celebrate special occasions with family and friends. Fully Renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped so you have what you need to cook it up for the whole family. Enjoy using our brand-new hot tub. There is a Vahalla Resort Spa in the gated community, restaurants, and a golf course for those golfers in your family. The cabin is nestled in the mountains. This cabin doesn't disappoint. We had a great time in Helen. This cabin is perfectly located and although it could have been a bit cleaner, we had no major issues and really enjoyed the stay. We recommend this rental!
The house was in a quiet, secluded gated neighborhood with a short drive into downtown Helen. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. It was comfortable for 8 people. The host was easily accessible and responded quickly to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay.
Such a charming property. Nestled up in the mountains, it was the perfect place to stay after a busy day in Helen. The host was gracious and helpful. The house was decorated for fall. All in all a great place to take family and friends.
We had an incredible weekend getaway. We were close to Anna Ruby Falls, Tubing, and downtown. Hosts were super responsive & friendly. Uber/lyft was an easy low cost option as well which was perfect.
The cabin was wonderful! Very clean, kitchen had what we needed and the hot tub was perfect for the cold days! We would definitely consider renting this cabin again!
The property was clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 4 couples. Hot tub was great, spacious open and well stocked kitchen/living room. Loved the screened in 2 level back porch and the views from them were very private. Close to town. Would stay again.
Our stay was perfect for our grandkids and enjoying relaxing family time. Safe neighborhood and quiet. Perfectly near Helen's downtown area too! Hosts were very responsive ensuring our stay was perfect! Wiuld definitely go back to this cabin again!
My family really enjoyed our visit here! The cabin was cozy and adorable, and there were plenty of things for the whole family to do while we were there. Helen and Unicoi State park were both short and easy drives. Thanks for making it available to rent!
This cabin has everything needed for a large family. There was 8 of us staying and we had plenty of room to spread out. The place was clean and well maintained. The owners made sure everything was perfect. Will stay again.
Loved spending the weekend at this cabin! It’s got everything you need. It’s a little ways away from the gate but fine once you figure it out. Lots of great amenities, too. Thanks!!
The house was beautiful and every detail amazing. Love the kitchen island/table. Everything you would ever need in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and well stocked. Loved the screened in porches!
Needs a little attention to rec equipment and the twin bed mattresses need replaced. Hot tub fantastic for no more than three or four people at a time. Great idea with grill on porch with vent. No battling with the insects! Nice big table for meals. Suggest more maps of area in cabin to get acclimated to area.
Was disappointed in distance from town. Yes the security gate was only .5 miles from town but the cabin was significantly higher up from the gate therefore we couldnt walk into town on an evening and have a drink, as we don't drink and drive...very disappointed in that aspect
Stayed here with a few friends to celebrate Octoberfest. It is a beautiful cabin with a screened in porch which we fully loved breathing in the fresh mountain air and using the hot tub. We enjoyed morning breakfast with the kitchenware provided and played lots of billiards in the basement! It was a great place to stay! Host was very easy to reach and communicable. The only issue I had was the listing said it was 10 minute walk to the Festhalle but that is the driving distance, the walk time is an hour. We were hoping it would've been closer to walk but I would recommend Sautee Rides and Transportation as Uber wasn't very reliable in the evening we went to Octoberfest. Overall a great place to stay and beautiful mountain getaway!!
Great property, lower level has two twin beds and full bathroom hot tub and pool table, main level has a bedroom and full bath and upper level has two bedrooms and full bath. Close to town with most of the drive in a gated community. Great Communication.
Very nice place! It's definitely far back in the neighborhood so make sure you bring a vehicle that can handle big inclines. We did see bears, so believe the hype!! Perfect for a girls weekend with plenty of beds, bathrooms, and space.
Nice cabin in a secluded woodsy area. Nicely decorated with a relaxing screened porch in back. Nice separation of rooms.A challenging drive to get to from the entrance so be aware of that.
Great property! Everything was as advertised. Sure there are a few little blemishes here and there but honestly it made the place feel more “homey”. It made us more relaxed and not afraid to touch anything. If I had to nitpick anything and it didn’t affect us at all because we didn’t care to use it was the game room. There were lots of board games I saw but we didn’t get into them……The pool table is fine. I saw some people complaining about it. For what it is it is fine. Nobody is planning the world championship billiard competition at Helen’s Hideaway. It’s fine……Dartboard needs some new darts……the arcade basketball games frame is broken. again, didn’t bother us, but if you’re traveling with kids you may wanna be aware. Altogether, very nice cabin in a safe neighborhood with all the basic amenities you would want/need to use on vacation.
Two families of 4 stayed the weekend before Christmas and it was a great time! Close proximity to downtown as well as to fun and easy hikes. The house was clean, beds comfortable and the basement game room was a lot of fun. Worth noting, the two twin bedroom is the only bedroom on the bottom floor, and is very small with no windows. It worked fine for the two young boys (7 years old) but it could be a little scary for some littles.
