About this property

Walk to Everything! Downtown Mt. Shasta (202)

King Room: This 278 square foot room with a king sized bed is located in the Summit Lofts boutique hotel, nestled beneath the mountain in downtown Mount Shasta. With an extra deep bathtub along with a tiled shower, this is a great suite for rest and relaxation. All of our rooms are non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Our incredible location allows you to WALK TO EVERYTHING and really experience this stunning California mountain town. Completely renovated in 2022 with tile shower and bathtub, fast & reliable fiber internet, 800 thread count Eqyptian Cotton sheets, 50" flat smart tv. Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay.

Walking into the room, there is a coat rack on the wall and one king sized bed with luxurious bed linens including 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Both sides of the bed have sconce lights on dimmers. One window in the bedroom is screened by a 35 year old holly tree so the room stays cool and shaded even in the summer months. There are also blackout blinds so you can easily take a nap during the day. *This room is located above THEORY Coffee's amazing bakery which starts baking daily at 5:15 am and some guests may hear a baking mixer (while other guests don't hear anything). We have provided ear plugs and a sound machine on the nightstand for light sleepers*
There's a large screen smart tv and a soft chair in the corner of the bedroom beside a narrow dining table (or use it as a desk). There's a portable luggage rack and a built-in luggage bench for plenty of suitcase storage.
If you walk to Berryvale Natural Grocery store, you can store food or beverages in the mini fridge, use the tea kettle, and there's also a microwave to warm up leftovers from one of our great local restaurants (also walking distance).
The bathroom is beautiful with a subway tiled shower, deep bathtub and quartz countertop.

Guests will access a small entry lobby, one flight of stairs and a common hallway. The entire loft will be private and accessible to only the guest (no sharing of space required).

The building is located on our historic main street at a lively intersection downtown (that turns very sleepy by 10 pm), literally nearly every one of Mt Shasta's best spots are within walking distance! Feel free to make eye contact and say hello as you walk the sidewalks as this is a small, friendly town. Our outdoorsy neighbors across the street at The 5th Season will rent you any outdoor recreation equipment you might want for an unforgettable adventure. Snowshoes, skis, mountain bikes, etc..
As far as neighborhood eateries, we suggest you take a stroll to Yak's Shack for an afternoon burger or a 2 minute walk for an acai bowl from Alua's Thrive Bar. Dinner at Pipeline shouldn't be missed!

The PERFECT LOCATION for walking to restaurants. Bikes are also a fun way to get around and can be easily rented from our neighbor directly across the street, The Fifth Season. If you're using a car, there's plenty of free on-street parking within 2 blocks to the east and south of the building.

You would be so close to many of Mt Shasta's best spots!

-Alua's Thrive Bar (2-minute walk) - excellent kombucha, acai bowls & smoothies
