We stayed at the lake house with two other couples and we had a great time. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was perfect. The host was very quick to answer when we had questions. We would definitely stay there again!
This by far was the best vacation I’ve ever had! The owners opened up a paddle boat and pontoon slip so I could entertain family and have a seem less excess to Gunlake. Amazing place and very updated. Will be back this fall for sure! Thanks for booking us on such short notice.
We rented out as a big family both cottages. They fit our large family, everyone had a bed. The owner was so helpful, communicated very well. Each house had so much to offer. We recommend renting out both houses for large groups and we will definitely rent this both out again.

Premium Price, Below-Average StayThe location is a the best part of this property. It’s close to the park and beach, with shared lake access across the road.Upon arrival, we found a half-smoked marijuana joint on top of the refrigerator. Two of the three bedrooms had severely broken blinds with large gaps, making it difficult to keep light out for our sleeping baby. We asked if they could be repaired but were told it would be done after our stay. The interior stair railing was broken and could not safely be used.During our stay, the exterior of the property was treated with pesticides without any advance notice while we were inside with two young children, a baby, and a small dog. We would have appreciated notice so we could plan accordingly. For the price we paid, we expected a much better-maintained property and more proactive communication. The location is nice, but the condition of the home and several maintenance issues made it feel like poor value for the cost.
The house was in a great location, easily accessable to the water. It is not directly on the water, across the street, but does have great views over the top of the other house as the street is on a hill. The house had all the ammenities we needed as an extended family of 10 and ample space for all of us. Edgar was on top of his communication and very accommedating and efficient. We loved having all the water toys and renting the available boat to enjoy the water. We would stay again!
I rented the house across the street and my brother rented the property at the lake. We rented the pontoon boat and everyone from kids to adults had a great time. Edgar is awesome to work with and very responsive. Just know that there are not seemingly any or perhaps few rentals in that neighborhood, so treat the place like it’s your neighborhood. Not a place to be hosting a rager or a place where the neighbors would have much tolerance for nonsense.

So so getaway
A lot of stairs. At least 8 air fresheners try to cover up musty smell. Neighbors did not like renters. Felt low end. Lake access in front had dead fish and a foam /scum on water all weekend from prevailing wind
