Nature lover’s rustic retreat in a pristine Redwood Forest. Enjoy glamping in the magnificent redwoods in the comfort of the Garden Cabin. The cabin has a Queen bed, French doors with views of the old growth forest, a romanic glass door wood-stove, outdoor fire pit and gathering area , hammock & peaceful, private sitting areas. Bordered by miles of forest & remote hiking trails. Only a 5 min drive to a choice of beaches, State Park and Nature Reserves. Pet Friendly!

Unplug and rejuvenate in this peaceful, Off-the-Grid Nature Retreat. The cozy Garden cabin is surrounded by forest and magical old growth redwoods. ( Only 5 % of these ancient Old Growth redwoods remain in California.) Behind the cabin is a large private garden/forest area that is directly connected to remote trails leading through miles of forest. Listen to the sounds of the birds and the ocean as you hammock in the trees. Eco composting toilet, outdoor sink and unique Redwood outdoor hot shower. Large gathering area with outdoor fire pit. Ocean Forest Retreat has 4 private cabins -spread far apart on the large property with forest and fencing in-between for plenty of privacy. Towards the front of the property is a large ocean view seating area ( shared space.)

We have both grown up in the area and love to share our favorite local spots and activities with our guests. Adventurous nature activities available just minutes from the land. Including: Horseback riding tours at Ten mile Beach, tide pooling & whale watching at Mackkericher State Park, guided ocean and river kayaking, the famous Skunk train and Rail bike rides through the redwoods and some of our favorite hikes. There's a choice of numerous, beautiful beaches 5-10 minutes away - including Ten Mile, Pudding Creek, Virgin Creek( Local surfer's favorite), Seaside & Glass beach. What a magical place!

We loved the fire pit— it’s easy to pick up plenty of wood from the surrounding forest. The outdoor shower was great too! Super quiet.
