WELCOME to Driftwood Hideaway!
This 3200 ft, 5 bedroom, 3 full baths lake house was created with experiences and comfort in mind. Driftwood Hideway is nestled on a very private and quiet lot with amazing views of Black Donald Lake. The spacious floor plan is flooded with natural light and has two large gathering areas that will allow all guests the perfect places to relax, enjoy great company and great food.
Its contemporary design, custom decor with rustic elements, and one of a kind driftwood accent pieces, will surely make you feel comfy cozy.
With access to all our watercraft and our outdoor amenities, your adventure awaits. A naturalist may enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, golfing, hiking, snow shoeing, skiing, ziplining or just relaxing.

THE LAKE HOUSE
Upon entering the foyer you will get your first glimpse of the bright great room, with majestic views, pine vaulted ceiling and fireplace. Enjoy the view while lounging in the leather recliners or snuggle up on the sofa. There is space for the large groups!

On the side of the great room is the open concept kitchen and dining room. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen space is well stocked with all the amenities of home. This area includes an 8 ft live edge harvest table and bench, a large island with sitting for 5 allowing ample seating for dinner.

Off the dining area is a good-sized deck with a dining table and chairs to enjoy a meal or drinks and take in the breathtaking southern exposure. Those looking for shade or enjoy some quiet time can sit on the covered front porch overlooking the private forested area.

There are 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms on the main level. All bedrooms feature queen size beds and black out curtains to aid in a good nights rest. The master bedroom offers an en-suite with a large glass shower and a private balcony with stunning views of the lake. The other 2 bedrooms on the main floor have large windows with views of the forest.

On the lower level you have a spacious entertaining area for that large gathering. Large windows provide an abundance of natural light, and a reclaimed wood wall accentuates the scenic view.
Indoor amenities include indoor a BASKETBALL NET, SHUFFLEBOARD TABLE, POOL TABLE, a large selection of board games, puzzles and books, 70” SMART TV, 50” TV with Firestick, Wii, DVD player, over a 100 DVDs, STARLINK INTERNET/Wifi.

Aside from the entertainment area, there are two spacious bedrooms, and a third full bathroom with JACUZZI TUB, a perfect go to place after skiing or snow shoeing.
Finally on this level , a large kitchenette leads to a shaded area under the deck. While waiting on the bbq, practice your putting at the 18 ft GOLF GREEN (putters and golf balls provided) or enjoy a game of LADDER TOSS, bocce ball yard Yahtzee or horseshoes. Just beyond the bbq, is a natural stone and steel FIRE PIT, a gathering location overlooking the lake. Firewood is COMPLIMENTARY year round!

Gain access to the waterfront by either stairs or steep ATV trail. There is a large private dock and a small shallow entry area for children. Parking is available at the dock if bringing a boat. Guests have access to a PEDAL BOAT, stand up PADDLE BOARD, windsurfer base, older non-motorized 14-foot aluminum BOAT and 2 sit-in KAYAKS.

There are plenty of nearby hiking TRAILS and ATV trails to explore. Calabogie Peaks SKI HILL is less than 20 minutes away. The area is well known for it's scenic hiking trails, be sure to check out the Eagles Nest lookout.
