My husband and I stayed in the treehouse and loved it. Very comfortable and perfect for the two of us. Short walk to the River where we spent quite a bit of time. Charming little place!
We stayed here with our 13,11 and 2 yr old boys and everyone had the best time! The location of the tree house has complete privacy and is right on the River which was a huge added bonus. We are already talking about maybe coming back next year. Only “heads up” is the “kitchen” sink is more of a dribble so washing any dishes is a long process but… your in a treehouse
The Tree House was an exciting experience that was unlike any other camping trip that we have taken. The cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us and was very clean.
My daughter loved the unique bunk beds and I enjoyed the outdoor shower and the deck at the top of the tree house.
If you are looking for a rugged camping experience (with a bathroom!), this is the spot for you.
i needed a little trip away without having to drive far, this was perfect! Just the right size for me, i was in the nature! I will be staying there again, and we all know when family comes to town where they are going! ( i hope home- ill go stay there lol) Host were great on my needs- just wiah i knew to bring more water
We had a great stay for the weekend, the only complaint we had is the charge box started beeping after me an my husband had our phones charging for about 10-15 minutes and blinking red. After that we were unable to charge our phones at all. Which wasn’t a big dealbreaker we still enjoyed everything else. Finding the tree house was a little hard but the owners were super helpful and sweet. Any questions we had they were right there to offer help so it was great. The only thing we would recommend is bring your own supplies like shampoo, soap, hand soap, dish soap, a couple packs of water etc. it truly is a treehouse so don’t expect it to be extravagant modern home because it’s a beautiful treehouse. It’s camping just indoors. We should have been more prepared for sure but we still had a great time it was fun. Thank you again for opening your beautiful treehouse to us.
Exactly what I was looking for with a nice blend of rustic and modern amenities. Not to mention solitude, quiet, river walks, sunrises and how cool is it to stay in a treehouse!
We had a great time staying here as a family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds and the cozy play corner up in the loft. So much natural lighting! I loved how wide the door and some windows were for letting in fresh air. Being close to the river was a nice touch! We found some really neat rocks and enjoyed the walks. We also enjoyed the fire pit and sunsets in the field. We cooked our meals in the treehouse, and ate down at the picnic table. I almost packed a tray - regretted not after many trips up and down - one thing to consider is the fridge is outside, under the treehouse, which was fine once we finally remembered! we only stayed two nights and brought disposable plates/silverware, so I can't speak for the water as we didn't use it to shower or wash dishes. The treehouse did some creaking if there was a breeze, which is perfectly normal considering it's up off the ground and built in the trees. A sound machine was very helpful at night. It seemed like it only creaked when it was closed up, when the door and windows were open it was fine. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would stay there again!
Our host was wonderful to work with, A. Such a unique and beautiful property, we loved it. Super clean and comfortable, it was all we could ask for. The river was a little low for us to use our kayaks, but it was an easy drive over to Rushford Lake. The property is great to walk around and we also hiked along the river. Would highly recommend.

Pretty cool set up!! But no hot water for the shower as it says in listing.
Great location-quiet and peaceful. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely recommend to our friends.
The house is absolutely gorgeous! We were all able to get warm showers. The water pressure in the kitchen isn’t great but the bathroom sink is good if you need faster water (I had sippy cups to wash.). The fridge/freezer is small but works great we had 4 days worth of food in there no issues. We had plenty of energy from the solar panels, we left the bathroom light on all night for the kiddos. We had sooooo much fun exploring the property. Although you can hear quite a bit of traffic and people near by….we only saw a couple people by the river; it was very private. We didn’t have to worry too much about our 14m she could freely roam around, explore and play. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend! A property map would be nice; but exploring was def fun!
This was a fun experience as I have, as well as my friend, have always wanted to stay in a treehouse. We can now both say we have. Thanks for the unique experience!
Our treehouse stay was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to kick off summer for our family. Tucked away just off a main road, it felt secluded and peaceful, yet made for a great base to take little day trips and explore the charming surrounding towns. One of the highlights was the field full of fireflies at night—it felt truly magical under a sky blanketed with stars. Being right on the Genesee River and White Creek gave us the chance to explore the shoreline, our 8 year old son loved playing in the creek, skipping rocks, finding toads and trying to catch crayfish. This property is a hidden gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable weekend getaway.
My girlfriend & I wanted to go on a private getaway from the hustle & bustle of the city. When we arrived, we found 54 flies (I counted as I killed them). They were all over the living room, the bedroom, they were everywhere. When I contacted the property owners, they acted like they had just checked on the place the day prior, which was an obvious lie. The solutions they provided was a bug zapper that would have spent all night trying to get the flies during my private getaway with my partner. It was the farthest thing from the desired start we wanted to have. We spent the first 2 hours killing all the flies and proceeded to have a good stay. I provided pictures and videos to the owners and they ignored my messages until I mentioned I was going to leave a review. They acted like they did their part by offering a solution, when in reality, they should have prepared the place for their guests properly. The cabin functions really well (except for the shower which does not produce hot water, only cold). The false advertisement is in the cleanliness of the property. The hosts did not provide any financial remedy to the situation. I kid you not I have a picture of 20 flies on the window of the bedroom. They do not care about the experience of their customers, which is quite a shame!
My wife and I very much enjoyed this property. It’s a beautifully rustic cabin that’s literally 20 feet above the ground in the trees. It’s set back in the woods but not far from the road and the town of Belfast. The place is well-built and very clean. You will need to bring outdoor chairs, your own towels and warm clothing if it’s in the cooler months. It was a great experience.
this was my second stay i enjoy it so much! And i only live 5 miles away, the location is so differnt you would never know! The owners are quick to make sure i enjoy my experiance! And its always very clean!
Absolutely a treehouse and really cool concept. Definitely unique. Saw deer, some black bears. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great place to unplug and unwind and listen to silence. Couple negatives, fridge is downstairs(but it works so no complaints from me). Had to use a lighter to light the gas range, once again, works and no complaints from me. Maike made sure a couple of traveling workers felt at home and had what we needed. All around 5 stars for me. Be sure it suits your need is my only warning.
We did enjoy our stay however we felt a lil cheated. The first picture is not accurate. It shows what we thought was an outdoor kitchen area. There isnt such. It was just a regular 3 burner propane grill, no counter space like in the picture. The grill also did not have a full tank. We did really enjoy the river however you need water shoes its very rocky.
Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water).
We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present.
All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.

Great craftmanship but too many problems
I really wanted to give a higher rating, but there were just too many issues. We were prepared for a more rustic experience as I had read the listing and previous reviews. And we knew the water would not be potable, but we couldn't even wash our hands in it as it was a dark brown color and the sulfur smell was very strong. There was a Dollar General nearby where we could stock up on more water. There was a very mild breeze the first night and we were all awake all night due to the very loud rattling and creaking noise from the windows. I could not open either door without a struggle and the propane cooking oven only worked intermittently. The craftmanship was great and the owner very responsive when we had questions.
Stayed there for a weekend getaway. The shower is outside and doesn’t really have much privacy. The house leaks water when it rains past the tree holes… woke up with the floor flooded by the morning. Those same hole let in big and especially the cold, it was freezing inside the whole time, Also ran out of power by have a single like on for no more then an hour. Could flush the toilet, no water, no light nothing. The entry way/driveway is absolutes brutal with pot holes a ditches every few feet. It’s a cute place as long as your more open to almost camping then renting a house.
