The Space:
You walk into a spacious living room wit a sofa bed and a smart TV. Lovely, furnished 2 bedroom/2 bathroom craftsman house located in the best part of Austin. The space is perfect for sharing with two separate bedrooms separated by a long hall. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom with a full tub and shower. The open kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer and is well-equipped with utensils, cookware etc. This house has classic charm (original molding, hardwood floors, giant windows) but has been recently updated with new appliances, furnishings and fiber internet.

No cable but the TV has built in Roku so you can access your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc. Ample free parking on the street.

We can sometimes accommodate pets on a case by case basis - in the cases we do allow, there will always be a pet fee of 50$ that needs to be remitted at time of booking confirmation.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire house, front yard, back porch and partially fenced yard area.

The Neighborhood:
The Zilker neighborhood is quintessential Austin, close to Barton Springs with abundant greenspaces and parks just to the west, shopping and dining are within walking distance on Lamar (including Uchi, Loro, Odd Duck, Ramen Tatsu-Ya, Shake Shack and Alamo Drafthouse) and downtown just to the north.

Zilker is named after nearby Zilker Park, Austin's most beloved park and the site of the Austin City Limits and SXSW and the Holiday Trail of Lights. Barton Springs Pool, Ladybird Lake and the Botanical Gardens are all minutes away.

Getting Around:
Walk to South to Lamar in less than 5 minutes. Bikes and scooters are readily available through Bird, Jump and Lime. Uber and Lyft are also readily available.

What is the parking situation?
There’s plenty of parking on the street directly in front of the house, and if you want to park in the driveway please make sure to stay to the left side, very close to the house, so that guests in the rear house can have easy access to their carport.

How do I check in?
A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us!

Can I extend a stay?
To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund.

Are pets allowed?
We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 50.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats.

Service vs Emotional Support
Service dogs have received specialized training to perform a specific task or tasks for an individual with a disability are considered service animals. Please provide the documentation and the pet fee is waived. Emotional support animals are important as well, but they will be charged the pet fee.

Are there extra pillows?
We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well.

Are extra guests allowed?
If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues.

Is smoking allowed outside?
Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests.

Could we leave our luggage?
We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags.

Could I have an early check-in or late checkout?
We use the DACK app (info given upon confirmation) where guests can purchase extra time before check-in or after check-out. This allows our cleaners to manage their time and have houses ready in a timely manner.

What is a MUST do in Austin?
We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worth a drive by!

Interaction with Guests:
If you need recommendations, we'll be available to provide them otherwise you'll have complete privacy. We'll provide you with access information before you arrive, so you'll have super quick and easy access to the house. We live nearby, but because we have lockbox entry, you can arrive at any time, day or night.
