Modern, nicely decorated casita, our guest house, 1 BR, 1.5 bath in the heart of the Zilker neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and downtown. Highlight is a terrace with fabulous downtown view. It is very private, set in the back of our spacious property. A great place to vacation and enjoy Austin. Quiet neighborhood where everyone knows each other. Perfect place to make home base while exploring Austin. Close to Zilker Park where ACL is held, downtown and famous South Congress district are also nearby.

A nice, clean, well appointed casita with a great view of downtown Austin! Though we had no needs to be addressed during our stay, we clearly sensed our host would have been attentive to any, had something come up. We found the location within walking distance of restaurants and the park areas by Lady Bird Lake. And, it was just a short drive to numerous other dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Couldn't ask for more!

Susana is the best VRBO host that we have ever experienced! She is obviously very detail oriented: the comfy beds, pendant lights, beautiful artwork, etc. The best part was the fantastic rooftop patio overlooking downtown Austin! An amazing panoramic view of the city!

This is our guest house. It is in a setting where guests can enjoy privacy. The Zilker neighborhood is a very interactive place where neighbors know each other, take walks, ride bikes. We want to maintain the family oriented environment and ask our guests to respect the neighborhood. No parties please.

Why they chose this property

We live in the heart of Austin, a vibrant city with much to offer. We are within walking distance of numerous restaurants, the hike and bike trails, Zilker Park (short walk to ACL!) and shopping. It is perfect place to stay when coming in for ACL, SXSW, Film Festival, Formula1, Austin Kite Festival, UT football games, XGames. It's a walk or short taxi ride from downtown and UT.
