With a view of the North Sea dike and directly on interesting bike routes, the area invites you to long walks or bike rides.

By bike or by car you are in about 5-10 minutes in the Pearl Bay Lagoon, a popular destination due to its internally protected bathing lakes.

The lively Büsum offers you besides numerous restaurants, supermarkets and stores also many possibilities for leisure activities: the family lagoon Perlenbucht with protected bathing lakes and water sports, the adventure pool Piratenmeer with wellness oasis, the Büsumer Aquarium, the colorful harbor with numerous boat trips, the museum harbor as well as guided mudflat walks. From Büsum harbor you can take a boat to Helgoland (duty-free shopping), to the seal banks or to the Wattenmehr National Park.

Furthermore, the nearby seal station Friedrichskoog offers seal watching and excursions to e.g. Friedrichstadt, Heide, Tönning or Hamburg. In Wesselburen the cabbage museum or Hebbel museum. From Büsum harbor you can take a boat to Helgoland or the Wadden Sea National Park. In nearby Friedrichskoog is the seal station, in Tönning the Multimar Wattforum.
