    Our apartment is located in beautiful Artland between meadows and fields. In the area there are quaint little towns for half-timber enthusiasts and small farms with farm shops and restaurants to stop by after a long bike ride or longer walks.
    The apartment can probably best be described as a small "Sweden cottage". The apartment is located on the edge of a small grove on an adjacent half-timbered farm. The apartment is not the largest with its 36m ², but holds with great attention to detail a comfortable zone. The living area with open kitchen is a place for socializing. Both the sofa and the terrace invite you to relax. The adjacent garden offers enough space to play and run around. A large fire bowl provides campfire romance on summer evenings. Leave your everyday life behind!
    In the fully equipped kitchenette with stove, oven, microwave and fridge with freezer you will find everything you need to prepare meals. Various cooking utensils are available. In comfortable beds it sleeps here in a quiet environment deep and relaxing. Guests with children are welcome.
    The environment is meadows and wooded and very quiet. Once the fields have been harvested, the deer come to the property boundary. In addition, a variety of birds and from time to time bats can be observed. On the farm there is also the farm shop "wine & pleasure", which invites to wine or spirits tastings. In addition, there is a rich offer of vinegars, oils and dips.
    Well-developed and marked cycle paths offer many opportunities to explore the area. It is possible for you to borrow bicycles from us. Canoe trips or hiking rides are possible in the area. In summer, there are some lakes that are easy to reach by car. For water sports lovers, the 30 km away Alfsee is a good destination. In the Hahnenmoor on the Moorlehrpfad you can explore the typical landscape on foot in a very informative way.

    Meine Auszeit war dazu gedacht die Akkus aufzuladen und ein wenig Ruhe zu bekommen. Das Schwedenhaus war dafür perfekt. Gemütlich eingerichtet mit allem, was ich gebraucht habe. Der Gastgeber super freundlich, das Haus blitzsauber. Ländlich gelegen und trotzdem mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar sind. Tolle Möglichkeiten zum Spazierengehen. Vor allem der Torflehrpfad ist superschön. Würde ich wiederkommen? ABSOLUT!

    Fijne plek en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig

    Het huisje is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Het ligt op een mooie, rustige plek en als je geluk hebt zie je in de ochtend herten op het aangrenzende veld staan. De eigenaar van het huisje is zeer vriendelijk en de communicatie verliep heel soepel. Top! We komen graag een keer terug.

    Zum zweiten Mal in diesem wunderschönen Häuschen

    Nach dem Aufenthalt im August 2019 war dies mein zweiter Urlaub in Menslage. Auch diesmal war alles Bestens und daher kann ich nur meine Bewertung vom letzten Mal zitieren: "Das "Schwedenhaus" liegt etwas ausserhalb von Menslage auf dem Grundstück von Klaus und Sabine Wojtun, die dort auch eine sehr gut sortierte Wein- und Spirituosenhandlung ("Wein & Genuss") betreiben. Die beiden sind die tollsten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann... unaufdringlich, aber immer erreichbar, dabei überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Häuschen ist nicht besonders groß, dafür aber sehr sehr gemütlich... für zwei Personen genau richtig. Es ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und insbesondere in der Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Besonders schön ist es, zum Frühstück oder abends auf der kleinen Terasse zu sitzen und die idyllische Natur zu genießen. Für Ausflüge ins Umland geben die Wojtuns gerne Tipps, ein Auto ist dafür empfehlenswert. Die Umgebung lässt sich aber auch sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad erschließen. Fazit: Einfach perfekt!"

    Zweeds huisje

    Ons verblijf was vooral heel erg regenachtig waar natuurlijk niemand iets aan kan doen. Toen wij aankwamen bij ons verblijf was er niemand ook de verdere week hebben wij, buiten de zus die heel vriendelijk was en Alma de geweldige hond, niemand gezien. We herkende het huisje en hebben ons zelf maar binnen gelaten. Het was schoon en ook wel gezellig. Echter het bed staat in de woonkamer/ keuken. Dit staat niet zo vermeld in de advertentie en is ook niet te zien. We raden de eigenaar dan ook aan dit te vermelden. De omgeving is schitterend en nodigd uit om nog een keer terug te komen echter dan wel in een ander verblijf.

    Mooi huisje op een prachtige locatie

    Het huisje zelf en de ligging daarvan is schitterend. De eigenaren zijn aardig en behulpzaam. We waren erg blij met de e-bikes die wij van de eigenaren mochten lenen, deze waren ook nodig want het is meer een fiets dan een wandelomgeving, als je van het platteland houdt. Persoonlijk vonden wij de omgeving wat saai en moesten zoeken naar mooie plekken, zoals het bos bij Bippen en de Dummer See.

    Romantisches Häuschen

    Wir wurden herzlich auf dem idyllischen Hof empfangen. Das Häuschen fanden wir sauber und gut ausgestattet vor. Trotz extremer Witterung (Hochwasser) war der Hof gepflegt und unser Aufenthalt ein schönes Erlebnis.

    Herzliche und flauschige Begrüßung

    Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, Unterkunft sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, ein Messbecher wäre noch praktisch gewesen, sonst war alles reichlich vorhanden. Einziger Vorschlag wäre noch ein Mückennetz am Badezimmerfenster, dann hätten wir besser durchlüften können. Der Flauschfaktor war toll, Alma, die Berner Sennenhündin kam um sich kraulen zu lassen und Frieda, die Hofkatze hat sich auch gerne ein paar Streicheleinheiten abgeholt. Es war wunderbar ruhig nachts und das gackern der Hühner war sehr heimelig. Die Gastgeberin auch sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Wir sind zwar sehr zerstochen aber auch sehr gut erholt nach Hause gekommen.

    Ontspannen weekje!

    De woning, bestaande uit een grote gezellige kamer met aparte douche en toilet ,is voor een korte vakantie prima te doen. De plek waar het huisje staat is heerlijk rustig en de eigenaren reuze aardige mensen. Als je van wandelen, fietsen en uitstapjes naar wat grotere plaatsen houdt, een prima plek.

    Natur Ruhe und Genusz mit oder ohne gute Wein oder Whiskey

    Een heerlijke vakantiewoning in de schaduw van de eiken en alle rust om van te genieten. Hier leer je de gastvrijheid weer te waarderen. En als je dan ook nog wijn of whiskyliefhebber bent kom je hier helemaal tot je zelf. Warm aanbevolen!
