Property is great (I'll get to that below), but I would strongly caution you to book through another booking company. We booked through HomeAway and found out that the apartment only has one bathroom, not two as was advertised. HomeAway told us they would rebook us to another property, and then they totally dropped the ball, leaving us without any assistance. Their "Book with Confidence" guarantee is very misleading. You are on your own if you book with HomeAway.
As to the apartment, it is in a great location, very close to Tivoli Gardens. It is very spacious, clean, and well maintained. Great parking in the courtyard is a real plus, as parking is very limited in the area. No A/C, so we slept with the windows open, and at 6am a gentleman across the courtyard played loud Tom Jones music and sang along. The only other comment is that the floors creak loudly. It gives the place a lot of charm, but can be noisy at night. All in all, a great place for our family, even with the early morning wake-up.

This apartment is well-located in the center of Copenhagen. The four of us were able to walk everywhere. It was only about three blocks from Tivoli Gardens (you have to go there!). It is up three flights of stairs, so it was a little tough taking our luggage up (large bags from a 10-day cruise). The apartment is really large, but has a very quirky layout. We were two couples, so one couple stayed on the main level and one couple took the upper level. My husband and I had the main level. Our room was pretty small and the bathroom was all the way across the apartment (through the dining room, entry, down a hall, and up two steps). There is no air conditioning - usually not a problem in Copenhagen, but we were there in 80-degree weather. We were able to open all the windows at night and cool the apartment reasonably well. It was quiet in our room, even with the windows open, but our friends upstairs heard more street noise, being at the front of the house. And a small thing - because this is a family's main home, the closets were all full. There was no place to hang any of our clothes, so we lived out of suitcases.
Overall, the apartment has a lot of good living areas, especially if you're a large family. You can't beat the location.

We had an outstanding visit and especially enjoyed the location, the historic details, and the vast size of the apartment that allowed us to spread-out and feel at home. We wish we could have stayed longer.
