Blue Sky on Lake Norman is a spacious pet-friendly lake front home on a sprawling lot with pool and a sandy beach. The home features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms with space throughout to unwind, relax and play!

With big water views, this newly listed luxury vacation rental has been meticulously curated for relaxation and family fun! With no less than a dozen individual seating and gathering areas in and around this home, you will find plenty of space for your group, or multiple families without ever feeling crowded.

If you want to play, we've definitely got you covered! Enjoy a paddle in one of four kayaks or try out the stand up paddle board, all free for you to enjoy. Shoot a game of pool, play foosball or throw darts in the game room. If you're looking for more activities, there are workout machines, corn hole boards and bicycles at your disposal.

This property had it all. The house was lovely and gave us a very comfy feeling. More than enough room for our 4 family trip. The outdoor space had it all! The kids loved the beach, jumping off the dock, canoeing, swimming…. We spent our evenings outdoors either on the patio or screened in porch. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house for a family vacation on the lake. Wonderful location, big back yard, dogs loved it, kids loved, we loved it. The house has a lot of different spaces to congregate which makes it good for a multi family vacation spot.

Great house, great location

Our family had a wonderful time together at this lake house. The things we enjoyed the most were the hot tub and the pool table! The kitchen was stocked with just about anything you could need. The beds were comfortable and spacious overall. There was plenty of parking for cars and firewood was even provided for the fireplace, which we enjoyed one day as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this home.

Fantastic Stay

This home is fantastic. The location on the lake is perfect. The home has been updated, as it was maybe built in the 1980's. It is decorated beautifully. The home is very clean, there were plenty of towels available and the beds were all very comfortable. The owner has thought of everything. The propane was almost out in the grill so I texted Paul, the property manager, and he came over right away with a new one. He was very friendly to work with. We are already talking about booking again.

This house and property are immaculate, the pictures do not do it justice. It is one of the best pet friendly Lake Norman rentals we've ever stayed at. The numerous, very comfortable outdoor seating areas in the sun and shade including two huge umbrellas at the pool, the huge wrap around screened in porch and the sandy beach were some of our favorite things! There were even fresh flowers on the table to welcome us. The expansive lake view and sunsets from the dock were not to be missed. The attention to detail in this home is superb and we can not recommend it highly enough. And many thanks to Paul, our property manager who answered every question and made the check in and check out very easy.

Spring Break @ Lake Norman

We had an amazing time spending spring break at Lake Norman. The home was clean and well equipped throughout. Plenty of beds and baths and places to hang out inside. The outside space is amazing! Pool was open for us (in late March) which we weren’t expecting but was such a nice bonus. Kids even swam a little when it was hot. Home advertised a sauna but we were pleasantly surprised to find a hot tub instead 😊. Beautiful dock, fire pit and wrap around screened deck for great for meals outside. The home had 6 kayaks and beach access which is so much more convenient when launching than dock access. Our 9 yo went out on her own for the first time with ease. Paul was great to work with - responsive and proactive. We hope to come back!

Amazing property!

Absolutely fell in love with this property! The lot was huge with fantastic lake views! We spent countless hours in the pristine saltwater pool, kayaking and taking in the views in the wrap around screened in porch!! The house looked just like the pictures. We had 8 of us all together and had plenty of room and spread out! The beds were very comfortable and most of the bedrooms had huge walk in closets. The first floor bedroom suite is the size of a small apartment all in itself! We also rented a pontoon based off Paul’s recommendation from Jerry at Jet Ski Rentals Lake Norman and he brought it right to the dock at the property which made it very convenient. We had a couple minor issues come up during our stay but Paul was super responsive and took care of it quickly. We absolutely did not want to leave and would love to come back!

Time at the pool was beautiful. It was a bit cold but it’s October. It is expected! A beautiful place you will not be disappointed. Lake is gorgeous. We brought the bass boat. It was wonderful to just hop on and take off into the sunset in the evening. We made s’mores by the fire. You can come here and not have to leave. The view is breathtaking. House is so spacious and plenty to do for the whole family. We had a total of 8 and we never felt crowded.

This is our second summer in a row staying at this dog friendly rental! The house is as great as it looks in the pictures. We ate every meal on the wrap around screened in porch. There are multiple seating areas at the pool, dock and sandy beach, all in the sun or shade. The sunsets from the dock are not to be missed. The property manager Paul quickly answered any questions and is very friendly and easy to deal with. This home is definitely a 10 out of 10!

Why they chose this property

This lake home has so much going for it. Not the least of which is its location and lot. Located less then 10 minutes off Highway 77, you'll find yourself at the end of a peninsula looking at big water views. The grounds of this property are amazing as well. The lush flat front lawn is ideal for football, soccer or whiffle ball.

The back yard features the kidney shaped in-ground pool and patio. Another long stretch of flat lawn leads to the beach. Next to the back lawn is a beautifully designed natural area with palm trees, grasses, sand stones and a fire pit.

Sandy beaches are a rarity on Lake Norman, but this property has a beauty. With a gentle slope into the water, children and dogs alike can easily wade into the lake for a swim.
