50th wedding anniversary

We rented this property to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We all had a blast. Very clean, great location, nice neighborhood. The pool and hot tub were so nice that we hopped in every day, even though we picked the place in part because it was within walking distance of the beach. Incredibly responsive management too -- we had a question about how to use the hot tub, and they sent someone over in under 10 minutes and got it sorted immediately.

Great location. Pool/spa mostly unusable. Wouldn't recommend to a friend

Great location near Vanderbilt beach. House is clean and we enjoyed the roominess and comfortable accommodations. However, the pool and hot tub/spa were mostly unusable during our stay. Upon arrival, the pool temperature was 72 degrees and the property manager explained that the pool heater had been shut off by the previous guests. She assured me that it would quickly heat to 88 degrees by the following day. Unfortunately, the pool temp never reached that with the warmest temp being 83 degrees on the fifth and final day of our stay. Yes, there were some cool evenings, but the heater wasn't able to heat the pool more than 2 or 3 degrees each day. Also, the hot tub/spa wasn't much better. It took two hours to heat to 92 degrees and never reached more than 95 degrees. The spa jets also do not work (verified by the pool technician) from either controller. The outdoor area/pool is a major feature of this property, but it doesn't live up to the pictures. Equipment is old and unable to properly heat the pool and spa properly. I requested a partial refund from the property manager, however, that hasn't occurred as of this posting.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My whole reason for picking this property was to have a working hot tub and pool. Sometimes there was no water in the hot tub, or it was cold. Never got the blue ray player to work. The manager was nice but if you're going to this place make sure they tell you everything is working properly.
