Perfect Hershey Getaway

The Sweet Shack was the perfect home away from home. The location was ideal for our family getaway. Our hosts provided all of amenities needed to make our stay perfect and great suggestions for nearby places to eat and explore.

Perfect location

Perfect get-a-way home..just a little over a mile to the Giant Center and Downtown Hershey. The home was immaculate and had all the little things to make your stay easy. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

This rental was so clean and had so many amenities. The backyard was also very beautiful, wish the weather was nice enough to enjoy it! Overall though this was a great place to stay. Would be happy coming back here again.

Perfect stay!

If you are looking for a house in Hershey, look no further! The house was immaculate, in a central location, and had absolutely everything we needed. The outside deck area was a wonderful perk and it was so convenient to have laundry! Owners were accommodating and let us check in an hour early and communciation was quick and easy. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back next year!

Great Location

Excellent location and a wonderful property with a nice patio and backyard. Enjoyed a short few days with my family. House was very clean and well decorated. Location was super close to all major attractions - making the trip home from a long day very short. Can be a bit warm upstairs during the summer however the rooms come with rotating fans which help.

Sweet Shack is wonderful

The Sweet Shack is wonderful. It is clean and close to attractions at Hershey. The host is very responsive to needs. The place itself is amazing. Nicely decorated and comes with everything you need. Just bring yourself and some food. The outdoor space was nice with a gas firepit and fenced in yard that is great for kids.

Sweet shack

Newly renovated house inside and out! All appliances, flooring, beds, linens, etc. were brand new. Owners were readily available for questions or concerns or for advice on the area. House is situated on main road close to all Hershey attractions and restaurants and shopping outlets. Wonderful stay!

A Wonderful Place To Stay

This VRBO is a clean and comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked. There were plenty of towels and pillows. Great location. The only problem we had was there were no darkening blinds or curtains for the dormer windows upstairs. Some nights so much light came in we had trouble sleeping. Our home residence is in the country. Therefore we're used to complete darkness, so this maybe just a problem for us. We Had a great stay!

Great house

Our original booking was cancelled last minute. I found this house available and it met our needs. I don’t know how I missed this house originally. It was great. It was in a double lot so the back yard was huge. They had a lot of yard games. My 3 year old and 6 year old had a blast outside. The inside was very nice and clean. We would book again!

Sweet shack? Sweet!

Nice house, exactly as described and very clean. Was not an issue for us and perhaps it’s mentioned in the description, but there were no closets to hang clothes in the upstairs rooms. Plenty of towels, comfy sheets and several extras! Great yard, we had 26 of our closest friends over (dance team), 13 moms on the deck and 13 daughters in the yard and there was seating for everyone!

Bridal Party Stay

This house was so cute. The back yard is spacious and ideal for gatherings. The rooms were very clean. Our only concerns were that the upstairs bathroom shower drained slowly and left water pooling which could be problomatic for large parties. There werent very many places to hang items such as my wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses. The owners were very helpful allowing for a later check out time to allow significant others more time before checking into our venue. After we had checked our, we realized we had forgotten some wedding items. We were able to call the owners and work with them to pick it up with the cleaners. Thank you so much!

Our stay was fantastic and the perfect location for Hershey Park Activities. The house was very clean and had fantastic amenities that most rentals do not provide. The outdoor space was fully fenced in and our family spent the majority of the weekend out back, it was lovely and well maintained. Only took about 10 minutes to get to Hershey park and there were plenty of other things to do and necessities in the surrounding area. It was also kid friendly and plenty of space for adults and children to have separate rooms. There is also laundry in the unit which was so helpful. I would highly recommend and hope to rebook for future trips to Hershey

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful, clean, functional home. We absolutely loved the backyard - from the deck to the yard games, the kids were in heaven! We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and the privacy fence was a bonus! Management was very responsive and the home description was accurate! If we ever make it back to Hershey, we’d definitely stay here!

Just as Sweet as Hershey Park!

It was our first time visiting Hershey, PA and the Sweet Shack was perfect for us! The home was beautifully decorated and so clean! They have a great lay out for 2 families who love to travel together with a Queen Bedroom and then a Kids Bedroom on each floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, appliances, grilling tools, and china. Their backyard is set up for the perfect amount of everything - relaxing dinner on the deck, grass areas for a game of soccer and a fire-pit for our late night s’mores! The location is close to Hershey Park and the Downtown Area. The owners set the house up with their guests in mind - cozy couch in family area, board games in the closet, information book about the house and Hershey area recommendations, AC units in each bedroom on the 2nd floor, and beverage coasters on every nightstand to name a few things I appreciated. Also, they were very quick to respond when we could not figure out how to turn on the string lights in the backyard. 5 Stars - we will definitely book this house again!

Bachelorette Get Away

This house is everything we could have asked for and more. The rooms were incredibly clean and all very spacious. The outside of the house was perfect for everything we needed and more. We were able to play yard games and then have s’mores by the fireplace. The owners were incredibly responsive and very helpful. If I go to Hershey again, I will most definitely be staying here. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone!
