What makes this place so great is the location! You've got the best of both worlds - Belmont and Downtown Charlottesville - and you're perfectly situated between the two neighborhoods.
The lively Downtown Mall is lined with local shops, restaurants, and businesses. The Pavilion, a popular concert and event venue, sits on one end of the Mall and is within view from your living room.
The historic Belmont neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city, is home to our favorite restaurants. Perfect for strolling and looking at the historic homes. Most restaurants in Belmont are only open for dinner, and reservations are highly recommended.
Open Table and Resy are popular apps for getting reservations locally.
Our area is super walkable! It's one of the things we love most. But, everything in Charlottesville is fairly close (no more than a 15-20 minute drive). You can be on the Route 29 corridor in ten minutes drive. Headed to UVA campus? You're just minutes walk to a free trolley station, or the drive is about 12 minutes. Biking is also very popular in Charlottesville and we're right beside a cute community bike shop.

We enjoyed the great location with fun shops and restaurants nearby. The place was cute but it was very warm with only a fan to cool us down and the bed was extremely hard, which made it difficult to sleep. The owner was very responsive and flexible.
My family (4 adults) had a great time in Belmont. The location was perfect for a walk to "The Mall" and a short drive to campus for a game. The hosts were quick to respond and flexible with checking in. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great experience staying the night at this cute and cozy spot. We would definitely stay again!

This was a perfect spot for exploring Charlottesville for a few days. Loved being so close to the downtown mall, an easy walk to explore shops and restaurants there, and also the great restaurants in the Belmont neighborhood.
We had a wonderful short stay here. Very nice apartment and only a short walk to many shops and restaurants in downtown. Candace was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!
First the renter should know that this is a very small place. It's clean and well done, but very small. The parking situation is tricky, as it's down an alley and requires some maneuvering if you have a larger car or SUV. With all that said, the location is HUGE! It's so close to the Charlottesville Market, many restaurants, and activities. All factors considered, I highly recommend the place, mainly for the location.
The location is really fantastic, the place was comfortable, and the hosts were really responsive when we had questions.
It was a little cramped for my family of 5, but Charlottesville has very nice playgrounds nearby.
Such a cute and cozy little place! Its was perfect for our gurls weekend winery hopping! It is a great location and we plan to be back!
