Located less than 5 miles to Mercy Hospital, YSU & Downtown, this beautiful Art Deco mansion is the perfect place for long term stays. The house has a brand new kitchen as of 2020, 3 full bathrooms & over 5000sqft of amazing features. Built in 1927, the house has undergone a remodel of the kitchen and bathrooms, while keeping all of the historic charm. You can walk across the street to Mill Creek Park and down the hill to the waterfalls or you can roam the grounds of this 2 acre estate. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL REQUESTS TO STAY MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 90 DAYS IN ADVANCE. IN ADDITION, THERE IS A 7 DAY MINIMUM.

I always dreamed of renovating a historic home and in 2019 when I purchased this place, I got my chance. I left the fast pace of Los Angeles in 2020 and started repairs and upgrades when I arrived. I am 62 and I have small dogs and a kid in college.

Why they chose this property

This home is located directly across the street from Mill Creek Park. Located in the historic district of Idora, there are plenty of hiking and biking trails to keep you busy. In addition, you can rent kayaks and paddle boats in the spring and summer months. You will often see deer, wild turkeys, hawks, plenty of ducks and geese and my favorite, groundhogs.

This a non-smoking household. I do not allow smoking inside my home. If you smoke, than you can go outside and smoke in the courtyard where you'll find ashtrays.

What makes this property unique

The home is equipped with a water softening system, a steam shower in one of the bathrooms, 2 washers and 2 dryers, 2 refrigerators and 2 microwaves. There is plenty of off street parking for at least 8 cars.

The home has been tastefully furnished in keeping with it's age.
