Do Not Stay Here 👎!! Host is rude and disrespectful
The host was not professional at all. When I arrived with my kids, everything seemed to be ok. I did a walk through and saw that she has a dead-bolt lock on the back door which was a fire hazard being that the key was not there. We left and when some family came to bring food for later she assumed we were planning for a party. I advised her several times, that we were not having an event. She assumed we were having a party and basically told me that we could not have company. After she made an issue about us eating there after the graduation, my niece took everything back to their home. She then went on to say that the house has a maximum of 9 guest. I told her that was fine because there wouldn’t be more than 9 people staying the night. Then she said, even though it says there were a maximum of 9 guest, and that the price only covered 4 people and it would be $50 for the additional guest. She added an additional $250 charge after I checked in. I then told her that if the price I paid, covers 4 adults then that’s all will stay because I refused to pay extra money that she added because of assumptions. After she added the fee, she went on to say that she didn’t care how many people stayed and if we had a dinner there after graduation, that would be fine. But I wasn’t paying that fee nor did I want to violate any of her last minute rules. I even screenshot the original house rules and the house rules she changed after I checked in.
