The hosts went above and beyond during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay 5-star worthy. We hosted a family gathering and the amenities plus the location were perfect. The beach was less than 10 minutes away and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Beds were comfortable, house well appointed, and communication was top notch. Highly recommended!
Overall, the home was very accommodating for our weekend stay and a great place to reconnect with long-distance friends. The location was excellent, and the amenities were definitely fan favorites among our group. However, the reason I can’t give this property a full 5/5 is due to an unfortunate experience with the host. I was proactive in communicating throughout the stay to ensure we met all expectations as guests. Upon checkout, I let the host know about a small leak in the home—simply to be helpful and prevent it from becoming a larger issue for future visitors. Unfortunately, she immediately placed blame on us for the leak. After we had already checked out, she sent texts accusing our group of leaving bags on the porch, threatening to place them on the sidewalk if they weren’t picked up right away. As it turned out, the bags belonged to the next guests, not us. She also unprofessionally accused our group of misusing the hot tub, despite us using it respectfully and as intended. I’d recommend the property for its location and amenities, but future guests should be aware of potential communication issues with the host.
Needed a house nearby the grounds of the NIC, as we volunteer at the Art on the Green Festival each year. Gretchen's house met our needs! Beds for all, air conditioning, walking distance to all important locations, a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Made our stay in Idaho enjoyable and easy!
Fantastically located, moderately updated, clean house
Had a great time with our family here. The house is in a great location to get around to downtown and the lake especially with bikes. There’s a fenced in backyard too.
There are three bedrooms. Two rooms with queens and one room with double bed bunks.
The interior is moderately updated and in fine working order.
