Apartment in the idyllic village Evenhausen
Our apartment is located at the foot of the former "Wirtsanger" in the small, idyllic Chiemgaudorf Evenhausen.
From afar, the baroque tower of the parish church is visible. The location of the village with the magnificent view of the Upper Bavarian and Chiemgau Alps, owes this to a ridge, which was formed by the ice of the Inn and Chiemseegletscher.
Numerous finds from the Bronze Age (1800 - 1200 BC) Chr.) Bear witness to an early settlement of the area around Evenhausen. A fire victim place from the Urnenfelderzeit discovered at the southern village green in the year 1989 (1200 - 750 v. Chr. Chr.) Is the first proof of a settlement. The 44 cm fragment of a Roman gravestone found at the edge of the village in 1947 refers to the presence of the Romans.
