Great location!The view is incredible and we spent a lot time on the beach and at the many other outside seating areas. Beds are comfortable and plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. We appreciated the puzzles and games. Overall a great stay!

Our family had the best time at Joanna‘s house! You could not beat the views. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The town is super cute and had everything we needed as well. I already planned a trip for next year!

We chose this home for our wedding and it was incredible! My husband and I had 8 guests and it was a comfortable stay. The host was very kind and answered all of our questions as we prepared for our stay. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the beach is so nice. The only downside was that we didn’t realize there was no air conditioning, but using the fans and leaving windows open helped a lot. Definitely recommend this place!

Property was very nice and well maintained. The only issue we had was the internet, I believe it probably was satellite but was not consistent. The area is quite remote and cell service can be problematic at times. We were still able to watch a football game but most of the time we were out and about enjoying the sights of Michigan.

What a wonderful property! The communication with the hosts was very clear and prompt. We brought up friends who had never been to Northern Michigan. They couldn’t believe the property and felt like they were on the ocean. We all commented on how well equipped the property was plenty of room for us all to spread out! A five star stay! We will be back!

We had a little trouble getting in but it was resolved. The house was nice and the view was great. The weather was a little uncooperative but nature is in control of that. The water was way to cold to swim in but it does look like a beach. The communication with the host was good. We had a good time hanging with family.

Amazing Lake Michigan get away!

Really enjoyed our stay. Beach was amazing and the home was clean and sized perfectly for our family. We were contacted a few days before telling us that the unit was available for early check in which allowed a couple “extra” hours of beach time. Overall a great place to stay, we loved it!

Peaceful Getaway

The property is gorgeous and has everything you could need for a great vacation. The place is a bit hard to find and definitely off the beaten path, but it makes for a the most private and peaceful getaway you could ask for. I’d send any of my friends/family here.

Great Trip

This lake cottage was perfect for 2 families traveling for Labor Day weekend. We loved the private beach, morning coffee looking out over the lake, and campfires at night. The host was responsive. We would stay here again.

Lovely Stay

The house is very spacious. We loved the view of the lake and the private beach space. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks! The location is close to great hiking trails and fishing spots. The owners are also very communicative. Great place!

Amazing stay for a golf trip

Johanna was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. We played golf at Arcadia bluffs which is very close by and then enjoyed the beautiful beach in the evening. Would 100% return.
