Cabin was cozy and appointed well. Walking down to the lake was a tad difficult. We were looking forward to fishing but never got a nibble. We did have a beautiful view of the lake from the back porch. The town had limited eating out venues.

Great place to stay reason for four stars and not five was no cleaning fish on property other than that would stay again the dock was great house was great enjoyed our stay

Our cabin get away

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the cabin. Great location and very comfortable. The decor was amazing. What a great place. I would recommend this little cabin to anyone who is looking for a quiet get away.

The cabin was well appointed had literally everything we needed. Plenty of space and privacy. For the money….great place to stay for some lake fun.

Nice weekend getaway

This was a perfect place for our weekend getaway for some crappie fishing. The cabin was very spacious and clean. There were only 3 of us so we had plenty of room. The new floors are very nice! We loved the fact of having a private dock to fish from right in the back of the house. It was very close to shopping/restaurants (Walmart, Dollar Tree, KFC, Waffle House, etc). Erin was very responsive and provided very clear instructions for checking in/out. I would definitely stay here again for another fishing trip.

Great little property

Very roomy little property for its size, had a fishing tournament on lake the circle drive helped with boat trailers. Could get 3 in easily 4 might take some precision maneuvering.

Fantastic Lake Cabin

Great Lake view with dock. Nice outdoor furniture and fire pit. Comfortable beds. Very clean and fresh. The cabin is well decorated and well furnished. Spacious. The area is nice and very safe. We enjoyed our stay and will return. Owner was easy to reach and to communicate with.

Location and water access very nice.

The house was not clean. The kids feet were very dirty walking around in the house, spiders & webs in curtains, the two window unit A/C’s, my husband had to remove and clean the filters and food (donut & other) was under the LR furniture. After this much, we were concerned about sanitizing of countertop, dishes (no dishwasher) and bed linens & towels.

Owner is responsive. Property feels like no one has cared much about it in a while. My first impression was the smell - old, musty and dirty. Next was the cobwebs in the corners of the bedroom door and the windows- all things that should be cleaned occasionally. Unsure if the condiments in the fridge were meant for sharing since they were obviously left from a previous renter. I wasn’t expecting fancy, but I did expect clean and I was far from impressed. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to friends/family.

Location was great, neighborhood was quiet. But the home was outdated and not very clean.

My 2 children, my spouse and I came to stay for a wedding in the area. We loved the location because it was not far from family, and the venue. There are lots of food options and a walmart near by. The view of the lake was beautiful. The property itself is lacking. The beds were not comfortable. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, and under the cabinets. The refrigerator had sticky red residue that we had to clean up. The carpets are ripped in multiple spots but we made the best of our stay. Some of the dishes were dirty (before we used them). We loved the location and view, just wish it was more clean upon arrival. It smelled as it had been closed up for awhile. P.s. there is no central air and heat, before you go looking for it. And only 1 TV in the cabin.

Fishing trip

House was perfect for us for our fishing trip. Ramp close by. Country setting. We felt comfortable leaving out boats there at night. No worries of anyone stealing anything.

Rustic cabin stay

The stay was great. My family of 5 fit comfortably. Having direct access to the lake was fantastic! Two refrigerators was also helpful. Nearby to a grocery store, and not far from hiking or town. Highly recommend this place!

NE Alabama - beautiful!

Clean, rustic cabin on lake Weiss. Had a great visit. Close to amenities, yet out of the hustle. Quiet neighborhood. Bring your boat.
