This is not as it's represented. Countryside is not having a HIGHWAY outside your door. This is a Red Lion motel. Very noisy. TV didn't work, had to play with the cords/button to view. Shower stall grout was ugly... between black,gray. On the otherside of the shower, in the sleeping area, the water stains on the floor were rusty. Walking around in the room with my bare feet, they were black when I wanted to get into bed. I had to clean my feet again before getting into bed. The room and location served the purpose. Just that the management needs to up their standards.

Seedy Motel

This place is the epitome of a seedy motel. It was completely misrepresented on VRBO. The outside of the motel was completely run down. It appeared to be partially vacant, under construction, and looked like a construction site--a complete mess. There was one man working at the desk and he told us he was the only person on site all day long. He was responsible for all matters at the motel. When my daughter and I walked into the room we were hit with an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew. The fan was blowing but there was no cold air in the room; it was extremely hot in the room and when we turned on the cold air knob; not much was improving. We took a look around the room and clearly noticed it hadn't been cleaned in many months. The beds were made but that was it. The floors were extremely soiled with holes in the carpet, all surfaces had dirt on them, black finger prints on walls, hair on the walls. We quickly took our stuff out and went back to the front desk to report the situation and to get a refund.
