About this property

Birch Tent at The Grove Glamping

Reconnect with nature and disconnect from demands at this beautiful glamping site. The Grove has 5 beautiful canvas tents and is located on the edge of the coveted Glendolough State Park, where you will find many a wooded oasis, rushing creeks, and the clearest water you've ever seen. Not to mention bike, canoe, paddleboard, and boat rentals as well as fine-crafted eateries (& drinkeries) in the nearby town of Battle Lake.

Go to thegroveglamping.com for more info on our other glampsites.
The space
The property is 5 wooded acres and a short walk to a creek that leads into Molly Stark Lake in Glendalough State Park, so you can portage your paddleboard or kayak and be on your way to paradise. Other local lakes include Annie Battle Lake, Battle Lake, Blanche Lake, and Ottertail Lake. Glendalough State Park is nearly 2000 acres and more than 9 miles of undeveloped shoreline and 6 lakes. It is a gorgeous oasis well worth the trip.

The Birch Tent is an Avalon Bell Tent, a premium, high-end tent that goes above and beyond with features and functionality. It is 16'5" in diameter and the center height is 9'8" which gives you a feeling of spaciousness and luxury for your Glamping experience. Each tent is equipped with windows surrounding the bottom of the entire tent so you can easily add some fresh air whenever you want.

Fitted with a luxury queen bed frame and memory foam mattress, two beautiful modern chairs, a desk with games, coffee & tea equipment, a mini-fridge, and more, you will feel like you're away at a well-appointed retreat!

Birch also has its own two-person table, a fire pit with a metal grill top for the fire, and two chairs around the pit, with a lovely view of the wetlands.

Go to thegroveglamping.com for more info and to find links to our other tents.

I absolutely love being a host! One of my favorite things is to create experiences for people to be able to relax and feel cared for. My hope is that you feel special when you are staying at The Grove Glamping and that it is a beautiful place for you to make memories and have fun!

Why they chose this property

I grew up in Battle Lake and since I have traveled all over the world. My travels have helped me to see what a special and beautiful place this part of the world is. The woods on our property and in Glendalough State Park (across the road) are simply magical, there is just something so inviting and healing about them.

What makes this property unique

I am a travel guide and take people on adventures both here in Minnesota and internationally, I believe my unique job gives me the opportunity to foresee what people may need and host them really well. At least that is my goal.
