Our historic property is a beautiful mini resort located between Custer, SD and Hill City, SD, just minutes away from Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park.
Mountain View Suite is the second floor unit featuring two spacious air conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy living room, and a dining room/kitchenette combo. We carefully renovated this 100 year old house with your family in mind. The unit is a perfect combination of the old world midwestern charm and modern conveniences.
One of the bedrooms (with a queen size bed and a pull-out sofa) leads to a Romeo and Juliette balcony; while the other one has access to a spacious back deck. Either is perfect for enjoying the views and animal visitors. Deer and chipmunks are plenty around our 16.25 acre property surrounded by the National Forest lands.
Our guests enjoy two completely private large bedrooms. First bedroom features a king size bed and an en-suite full bathroom with a tub and double vanity. Second bedroom is a very large space that fits a queen size bed, a full size sleeper sofa, a laptop friendly desk and still has plenty of room to spare.
We are a small family business that is locally owned and operated. We treat our guests as we would our best friends. We live on the property as well, so our guests have easy access to us if needed.

Perfect get away

Loved staying here, everything was excellent and couldn’t have pick a more perfect place to stay. This was close to everything and is nestled in a wonderful location. I would definitely come back here.

Location Location Location!

This beautiful property is located close to all the major attractions in the Black Hills. Next to a babbling brook, with acres of green meadow, right on the Mickelson Trail, this listing was the perfect place for our family vacation. Our hosts were very responsive and friendly, and made our stay as pleasant as could be.

We loved our stay at this lovely countryside apt. Super Host! 😊

This vrbo was perfect for us and our friends. It has comfortable beds, beautiful decor and was the perfect location for all the places we came to visit in South Dakota. With a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, cozy living and dining room we felt right at home. Large bedrooms gave us plenty of space for our belongings and vacation treasures. Our host was prompt in andwering all our questions and made everything easy for us!
