You are also minutes away from Stowe Mountain and Bolton Valley for amazing downhill ski experiences. The quaint 200 year old town of Stowe is also minutes away with a variety of great restaurants, art galleries, antiques, shops and an excellent ski museum. The Trapp Family Property itself is magical and provides a space for renewal and rejuvenation with endless beauty surrounding you. This place is truly unique, filled with the sights and sounds created by the family that inspired the Sound of Music. Activities abound with 2,700 acres to explore. Snowshoe, trek, or cross-country ski on the renowned trails. Go for an old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage ride, swim, exercise, relax at the spa, enjoy the mountain views from the outdoor hot tub or grab a pint of Helles (Yes, Trapp brews their own variety of beers!) and dinner at the Bier Hall!
