Around the Area Located in Southeastern Oklahoma, Broken Bow, OK has endless options for outdoor enthusiasts. The area is the gateway to Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, the Mountain Fork and Glover Rivers, the Kiamichi Mountains, and the Ouachita National Forest. We loved the games, spa and towels for spa, WiFi for work (unfortunately we had to work some), bedrooms and island kitchen!! I would only recommend some blankets as they would been nice. Resides that you got it all there including DVDs, ball game on patio, sofa, chairs, even stops and blow dryers!!!!! Amazing and very quiet and peaceful!
Francisco was very accommodating and worked with us having to reschedule due to weather. The cabin was very clean and when it warmed up and the snow cleared we got to enjoy the outdoors and fire pit. Melissa was also very nice and came out to bring propane and loaned us a well needed shovel. So quiet and peaceful!!
I had a lot of trouble with the additional app through suiteop but I am also not very computer savvy. Kitchen was great, WiFi worked well in the house but not on porch. The grandchildren loved the hot tub and games. My husband loved the remote location and happy to have boat access right down the road . Need towel hangers outside !
This cabin has such a beautiful setting - you could just not ask for more peace and quiet. On top of that, the cabin itself is very well-equipped with super comfortable beds and plenty of kitchenware as we stayed in every night and cooked. The fire pit was perfect, too. Also loved that it had some games - plenty to do even without the lake and beautiful surroundings (though of course we enjoyed all of it inside and out)! Would definitely stay here again!

Tonya, thank you so much for the kind words! We hope to host you again in the near future.
We had an amazing time in a beautifully secluded cabin. We enjoyed every morning taking a 13 minute walk to the easy accessible breathtaking lake. The property manager was most helpful with every possible need you may have. The digital concierge on the wall was a wonderful touch. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Just kind words. Thank you so much! We hope to host you again in the future.
As other reviewers stated, the house is very remote and the 8 mile drive off the main road is a little rough. Overall, the house was nicely appointed with the things we needed/wanted. Bathrooms were updated and amenities--soap, shampoo, etc. were very good. Towels and bed linens were nice and beds and other furniture were comfortable. The deck was nice for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. My disappointments with the house were minor--only one working remote for four televisions, refrigerator ice maker wasn't working, recliner handle broken, no window shade in the master bedroom to block security lights, the Connect Four game on the wall was broken, the carpet beneath the dining table wasn't vacuumed (it looked like the cleaners left in a hurry and didn't finish since the vacuum was still leaning against the wall.) My biggest disappointment was with the Host. In previous rentals elsewhere, I have always had a responsive host. This one never responded to voicemail or text. Said he "didn't listen to voicemails". So, I had to download the app for any communication. At the time we entered the house on a Monday, I reported my issues to the Host. He got back to me late the next day. As for getting check-in/check-out instructions, those didn't come to me until the day before we arrived and only after I reminded the Host that I hadn't received them. Very frustrating.
This is a gem of a property that is perfect if you want to unplug and reconnect with your friends and family. It is out of the way, but worth it. The deck is awesome and the layout is perfect. Do yourself a favor and just book it. You will not regret it.
This cabin checked all the boxes for us, and honestly we are picky. It was our first trip to Broken Bow and we had no idea what to expect. I booked this cabin and it was so great! It was clean as a whistle (I don’t miss a thing), secluded, had a very clean well working hot tub, it was easy to find… I could go on and on… book this cabin, you won’t regret it💗

Sally, thank you so much for your honest review! I can not express how much we appreciate it! You’re always welcomed back m, don’t be a stranger.
I wanted a place that was private but with hiking and fishing right out the back door. This place worked great. However, the lake that is seen on the picture isn't really accessible. There are steep, rugged woods between it and the house. From the description and comments from other renters it seemed that was the lake to hike to but that is incorrect. Although there is one down the road that can be walked to easily. This place is far out from town and stores, but that was known ahead of time. The road condition is not good onve you turn off the main highway but that's no fault of the homeowners. Its still a great place in all.
We spent the weekend for a girls trip and the house was wonderful. Lots of deer and wild turkey's. The beds were wonderful and the kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. There isnt a view of the lake, but it was still very beautiful and quiet. Keep in mind the check in process is digital, and there is no internet service unless you jave the wifi password before you get there. We had to go back to town to get the password because there isnt a book to explain the details of the house. One small inconvenience didnt ruin our stay. A great time was had by all!
The Honey Lodge is an excellent place to get away from busy city life. This is a cabin in the woods with designer amenities. It looks exactly like the pictures. The house is clean and furnished with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable the linens are great quality. The bathrooms are very nice and the water pressure is great. The TVs are Roku tvs and very easy to use. There are 4 TVs, a large one in the family room and one in every bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need. All top of the line appliances and utensils. The patio is huge and as in the pictures, has a sitting area, dining table and huge hot tub. We’re from Dallas and we rarely see more than a few stars in the night sky due to night light pollution. At this house, you are away from all city light and you will see a beautiful night sky filled with millions of stars. If you are into hiking and nature, you’ll love this place. There is a one mile nature trail right down the street and groomed trails all around the area. Francisco…the owner, is great at timely communication and feedback. We highly recommend the Honey Lodge for a couple wanting to get away or for a family wanting to unplug and make new memories.
