We had a great stay in Bremerton. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Sitting on the couch or at the table looking out over the water was the perfect way to start and end the day. We saw sea lions and whales right from the window. It's an easy walk to bakeries, groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, and the ferry. We will definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood seemed safe and was walkable. Loved the sound of the waves at night and watching the lovely view with boat and ferry traffic to keep it interesting. We even saw a large seal swim by!
We had a fabulous time. This was the best stocked place we have ever stayed at. Jackie had everything you could need. We really enjoyed the back patio, grill and easy access to kayaking. I would happily stay here again.

It was a pleasure hosting Leslie and her family. They were excellent guests: pleasant to communicate with, very attentive and looked after our home perfectly. We are grateful for their visit, and they are certainly welcome back.
My family and I had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, close to my parents home, and the views could not be beat. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean tides and waking up to the beauty of the Puget Sound. Ferries coming and going were a bonus. The place was immaculate and the host was very responsive at check in.
My family and I had a great time over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is fantastic -- right on the water, with beautiful views -- and lots of amenities (snacks, movies, games) were provided! Jackie was very responsive to all of our requests as well. Would love to stay here again!

You couldn’t ask for a more gracious, thoughtful, kind hostess!! Jackie was accommodating, communicative and respectful. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked place than hers. Any & everything you could need was there!! You are literally right on the water so the views are spectacular!! We spent so much time watching the geese fly by, sea lions pop up, and the ferries drive by. Overall, a very relaxing vacation!! Thank you, Jackie!! XO

We were so excited for the family witnessed the ship USS Ronald Reagan from the patio. The family are very warm, respected, and friendly. It was a pleasure to have them all stay at the beach house. They are wonderful guests and left the place spotless. We highly recommend them as guests to any host.
A wonderful home on the water, walking distance to great restaurants and bakeries.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Manette, Washington. This house was perfect. It sits right on the water, on a very quiet street and neighborhood. The owner has thoughtfully provided everything for your comfort - snacks, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding and pillows, outdoor seating, canoe. It is also in a prime location, close to the main street in Manette, where you can walk to great restaurants, shops, and bakery. Loved it and hope to be back!
We loved the neighborhood and the location to the water. I don’t think it could get much better. Their solution for AC and using electricity at the same time could be improved.
This property was a great stay. It's an older house with quirks and it was a little awkward having to go outside to go downstairs, but it was ok. All the thoughtful details like welcome snacks, binoculars, electric window shades, and labels (❤) made this place wonderful. Watching sea lions, boats, a variety of birds and best of all the Orca go by was fantastic! We'd stay here again.

It was a pleasure to host Chris and his family! They left the place clean and were quiet throughout the weekend. They were there at the right moment, to witnessed the orcas passing right in-front of the beach house! We had great contact and I look forward to having them stay with us again!
Above average views/beach front, below average house
The house needs major electrical work. There were electrical cords running everything in the kitchen. The house has a plastic window in one bedroom and, although well stocked, has mold in the bathroom shower and rugs that must be replaced. If you are a young family with a dog, this beach house might work for you, otherwise it is not an adult house.

This is inaccurate: EVERY window in the house is glass.
The rugs are replaced every January. They were the 2nd guest since replacing.
The bathrooms are cleaned with bleach weekly by a professional cleaning crew and inspected monthly.
The kitchen appliances are all connected to individual surge-protectors (not "electrical cords").
This was our 3rd annual sister trip. We ladies were VERY impressed with the whole house. Everything needed was provided. Privacy, accomodations, locations to everything, comfort. So much more! The best was the labeling of where everything is! There were things we forgot to pack... available! We would definitely book this place again!
We stayed in Bremerton for two nights to go to a wedding. Jackie was very helpful when I had specific questions on Bremerton. It’s very close to the ferry dock. We didn’t use the downstairs at all but did want to use the washer which was broken. The location of the house is great and you can’t beat the view. One must is the Saboteur bakery which you can walk to. Get there early, the best croissant I have ever had.

Terri was a pleasure to host! They left the place clean and were quiet throughout the weekend. We had great contact!
Our family of 4 plus one dog had a wonderful stay at this home. Out of all the properties we have ever rented, this one is the best in terms of how well stocked their amenities were for the guests. They even had a welcome basket with several snacks for us. Further, the communication with the host was outstanding. I would say the only downsides of this home are: no dishwasher and the second bedroom is in the basement which is quite hot and musty (there is no central A/C and the house is in the sun from sunrise until sundown.) The second bedroom can only be accessed by walking down the outside stairs. Because of this, I would not recommend this house for small children.
The location is wonderful! The scenery can’t be beat. We would stay here again.
I stayed in this home with my grown kids – there were 4 of us. The home was lovely but had some negatives that made it not feasible for us to rent again in the future. It was hot when we were there so the downstairs, unattached bedroom was too hot to be used except for 2 nights. The master bedroom upstairs was also quite hot a few of the nights because there is only one window unit in the kitchen, which has to be turned off to run anything (toaster, microwave, coffee maker). There are fans provided but with the AC plus multiple fans running at the same time made it quite noisy. Midway through our stay we discovered that the washer and dryer were not available for our use so we had to travel to a nearby laundromat to do laundry at $26/load. I didn’t realize they wouldn’t be available (the instruction book upon arrival gave directions how to use so this must be a new issue). The owner was very responsive to our inquiries and the location is lovely, I just feel like they could solve the electric/water issues and put a window unit in the downstairs apartment to make this a more comfortable rental.
