Summary:
Hardwood floors. Exposed ceilings make it EXTRA spacious. Cream city brick walls. The reclaimed warehouse style the area is known for. Right in the heart of the VERY lively action of our favorite Milwaukee neighborhood: Historic Walker's Point. It's home to the cities best restaurants & breweries & you're living on “Restaurant Row.”
The Space:
What makes our space unique?
The exposed ceiling, hardwood floors & cream city brick walls give that charming warehouse chic aesthetic. This is no cookie cutter, uninspired new apartment. There's a lot of unique character in it's classic design & that's why we love it! The buildings bones are a little older but that's where the charm comes in.
The neighborhood is second to none for Milwaukee's best restaurants all in walking distance.
The living room has a Roku Hulu etc. Board games under the TV.
Guest Access:
The entrance to the building is a large wood door located between two businesses. (Tattoo Parlor and a Hair Salon) Once inside the building there is a steep staircase that will take you to the 3rd floor landing. . There is no elevator or handicap access to the unit. If you do have trouble with stairs or limited mobility, this may not be the best fit.
The Neighborhood:
The Walker's Point neighborhood is second to none in my humble opinion. Home to makers, artists, brewers & an unmatched melting pot of cultured experiences. It is the uncontested home to Milwaukee's best arsenal of restaurants, including the restaurant I own Screaming Tuna Sushi, Voted Best Sushi in MKE by the Journal Sentinel, OnMilwaukee, MilwaukeeMag & ABC 12, & a Best View in Milwaukee winner. Below is a partial rundown!
Restaurants:
We have two James Beard chefs at Braise & Laughing Taco just 3 blocks south. Milwaukee tapas darlings in Movida (best service & sangria in town) & La Merenda nearby. President Obama's choice brunch, Engine Co. No. 3 is literally across the street from us. Award winning places like La Damas & Morel. A personal favorite of ours in the adorable The Noble downstairs. Pizza across the street at the Fixture. Countless Mexican food options immediately to the west. Wine on tap at Black Sheep 4 blocks south. One of Milwaukee's best burgers at Merriment Social by Screaming Tuna. Camino is my favorite unassuming bar food. Zocalo, The National, fast food, the list goes on & on & it's all within an easy 8 minute walk.
