It's a spacious, open-concept unit with a gas fireplace for the winter & a huge patio for enjoying summer. There are a number of restaurants & shops within 10-15 minute walk. Lavender Hill is a quiet little neighborhood, but close to downtown so its the best of both worlds!
This unique 1894 Victorian home, originally built by a German artist, was restored & turned into 2 condos; this unit is on the first level. It is a 10-15 minute walk to North Ave, Brady St & downtown areas. The unit is completely updated in a modern style. There is a huge porch complete with patio furniture, a peninsula gas fireplace, in unit laundry, WIFI, & 50” Flat screen. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a queen over queen bunk bed and there is a queen size cabinet bed (like a Murphy bed) in the main living space.
There is one off street parking space & plenty of street parking available. There is a bus stop 1 block away.

Also, although completely updated, this is an older home. The floor on the unit upstairs is wood & the sound barrier is not great. You may be able to hear the people upstairs.
**Please note, the unit upstairs is also an Airbnb unit. Although the house rules state no late-night partying & that it is necessary to be respectful of the unit downstairs, with loud groups it may be noisy. If that is a big concern for you, this is probably is not the right place for you. Please take a look at my other listings that may better fit your needs.
Additionally, to be respectful of the people upstairs, we don’t allow loud or late-night partying. If you are coming to Milwaukee to party like a rockstar, there is plenty of opportunity, but you should book hotel-rockstars definitely stay at hotels.

Lavender Hill is a quiet area with great people & a very neighborhood feel. It's right on the edge of downtown, so there is easy access to everything.
It is a 10-15 minute walk to downtown, North Ave & Brady St. A taxi or Uber to most downtown locations is less than $10. There is a bus stop one block away.
Pet Policy:
-This is a pet friendly unit, however, we do have limitations. Guests must notify host at the time of booking if they would like to bring a pet & include the following information; # of pets (limit is 2), size & breed information & confirmation that pets are potty-trained & well behaved.
-There is a non-refundable $75 per stay pet fee & owner must agree to pay for any damaged or additional cleaning in excess of the fee.
-Owners must clean up after dog immediately after going to the bathroom in the yard.
-Dogs may not be left alone in the unit if they are prone to excessive barking or causing damage.
-Any Rental over 30 days requires a signed residential lease.

-Front door is a deadbolt, the handle needs to be pulled up before the door can be locked
-No tampering with devices, internet or exterior cameras
-gas fireplace is turned on using the switch located inside the panel (panel is marked)
-Wood floors are very soft, please take off your shoes right away, especially heels!
-Pets are allowed but are not to be left unattended.
-You are welcome to use the charcoal grill outside. We do not provide charcoal or gas, but if other guests have left some behind, you are welcome to use it. Please make sure someone is monitoring the grill at all times when in use. ***If you use the grill, you are responsible for cleaning it
