Welcome to our Mountain Village Getaway! Our Stonehurst Townhouse is located in the Heart of North Conway. Only 4 minutes to Downtown, 6 minutes to Cranmore and 8 minutes to Echo Lake, our spot is the perfect jumping off point for any season. With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 2 living rooms, you can spread out comfortably and make memories that will last forever. We've got a lounging area upstairs for the kids while the adults relax by the fire, chatting and watching TV.

The space:

Our home is spacious and has a really nice open concept feel. The main floor living is an open concept with a large dining room connected to the living room and kitchen. The open living area has a wood-burning fireplace (firewood not supplied but bundles can easily be purchased at many areas throughout town). Above the fireplace is a Roku-equipped flat screen TV with a stereo soundbar system. The main floor even has a comfy area off to the side of the kitchen that we love to call our “coffee nook” with an adjacent powder room. There are two sets of sliders with small decks on either side of the main level for you to sit and enjoy sunrise with a coffee or sunset with a cocktail.

Upstairs we have an open fun loft with games, two couches and a game table that converts from a pool table to a ping-pong table. There is a flat screen tv complete with a Wii gaming console, DVD player and a Roku ready for you to log into and watch your favorite shows and movies.

Downstairs there are 3 guest bedrooms. There is a king-sized bedroom with a flat-screen tv, another king-sized bedroom with no tv as well as a 3rd bedroom with a comfortable twin XL over queen bunk bed. This bunk room also has a small TV. The bedroom TVs, as all TVs in the house, are Roku-equipped in guest mode for you to log in and use. There are two clean and modern full bathrooms on this bedroom level. Each has a large shower with adjustable shower sprayers. One bathroom is a “Jack & Jill” bathroom that connects on either side by doors to the bunk bedroom and a king-sized bedroom. Clean sheets and towels are provided and all made for you when you arrive.

The grounds at this property are meticulously cared for. It has one of the most convenient locations in the Mount Washington Valley area, yet is very quiet, wooded and private. There is a beautiful historic restaurant located on the grounds that offers excellent dinner options, as well as a cozy martini bar that you can enjoy by their fire. Across the road within walking distance of our getaway is a great natural foods market with a wonderful breakfast and lunch restaurant. Also located a short walk across the road is the best distillery in the Valley (they also serve food now), as well as a wonderful local brewery and brew pub. There really isn’t a more convenient and still quiet and private area in North Conway!

You will have access to everything in the house (aside from our supply closet) and nothing in the house is shared.

Location was quiet and felt secluded even though you were close to town. Within walking distance of several restaurants. The property was very clean and well stocked. Pete was great at communicating and offering suggestions on restaurants etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Great time!

Had an absolutely fabulous time here for our StoryLand Nostalgia night vacation. Pete was a wonderful communicator and the check in process was easy. Lots of room here for the 4 of us (me and two adult children and a boyfriend). Quiet, close to everything. We didn't have to worry for anything (I forgot bar soap and they generously had some provided in case we forgot!). From charging stations to a combo coffee pod/pot everything was perfect.

Nostalgic family vacation!

We had the most amazing time at Pete and Katie’s Mountain village getaway! The home was perfect for our family - mostly adult children and one 9 year old- everything was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations ! The kitchen was fully stocked and ready for family dinners, bedrooms worked out perfectly, and the game room loft was the icing on the cake! The whole family loved playing guitar hero, Wii sports, pool, and ping pong! No one was ever bored ! So many wonderful memories were made during our stay - we can’t wait to go back again!

Perfect Stay

We very much enjoyed our Columbus weekend get away with our children and grandchildren. The accommodations were perfect for our family and there was plenty of space to play on the one rainy day. The kitchen was well equipped and nothing was lacking in the kitchen. Pete was very knowledgeable about the area and responsive to my entertainment questions. The location is perfect.

Girls ski weekend

We had an amazing experience here! Pete and Katie were absolutely awesome when it came to their response time. It was super easy to check in and check out. Beyond enjoyable and relaxing!

We had the most amazing time and stay. From the moment we booked our stay the owners reached out and our communication was A+. The condo was so clean, so comfortable and nice. The location is perfect for everything in the area. The unit was filled with everything you could think of for all age as well as toilettes, they have thought of everything. We cannot wait to come back. The fireplace was an amazing perk with the 3 feet of snow we lucky enough to get.

Great Home Base!

Beautiful and clean condo right across the street from Moat Mountain and The Local Grocer but just out of the way to be peaceful. It had all the amenities we needed and the pool table and Wii kept the family entertained during our rainy stay. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was amazing in the Jack and Jill bathroom. Pete was very available and informative at the right times without interfering with our vacation. This was also the cleanest place in which we’ve ever stayed with the easiest checkout process. We will definitely stay here again!

Great, all around

We stay at a lot of VRBOs and this may be the cleanest place we've stayed. And very well equipped. It felt like a brand new house. The owner was great to communicate with and has given us a lot of recommendations for our vacation. We were a little worried because it was a condo but there are only four units and it felt very secluded. We saw one neighbor once and otherwise heard nothing and saw no one. Overall, one of our better experiences.

Cozy Weekend Getaway

Our holiday weekend in NH was perfect! Pete & Katie’s home was welcoming and equipped with everything we needed. Our 12 year old enjoyed playing pool with my husband while I sat by the cozy fire. I love to cook and found everything I needed in the well appointed kitchen. I had even brought my own slow cooker but didn’t need to because they had one there! The central location of Stonehurst Manor provided easy access to X-country skiing in Jackson and the outlets in North Conway. The place is spacious and tidy. Overall a perfect 10!

A step above the rest

I have stayed in 2 other condos on this property site & this one was more then a step above. It was beautiful, immaculate & comfortable. Fully stocked with all & any supplies needed. The owner even left a welcome basket with wine & snacks. It was akin to staying at a very nice hotel. The owner communicated promptly & pleasantly with any questions or requests. Beds and furniture very comfortable. TV'S, Appliances & kitchen items top quality. Close to walking to Stonehurst Manor for some fabulous meals and beautiful surroundings. I will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful weekend getaway in the Whites!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the N. Conway area. The townhouse was cute, cozy, clean, and convenient to the many things you can do in the area. Our property manager was attentive with clear details for our stay. The townhouse was well stocked making cooking for our family of 7 a breeze. All necessities of home were there. There was a nice loft for us to hang and play games and a beautiful wood burning fireplace to provide ambience when relaxing in the family room. We liked having all bedrooms on the lower level and having 2 bathrooms down there as well. We loved the ski house vibe and our welcome basket upon our arrival. We would definitely recommend this home and give it 5 stars.

Great stay in North Conway

Overall we had a great stay at this property. The house was the best stocked of any i have previously rented. Soap, toilet paper, shampoo, beach towels, deodorizing spray and bug spray were included. Bedding was hypoallergenic and beds were firm but comfortable. Kitchen was filled with every major appliance and accessory, and of great quality. Kitchen also included spices, oil, foil wrap and more. There was a welcome basket with assorted goodies as well. The house has a ton of games to keep busy with and my kids loved the wii and pool. The location is close to everything but quiet. The view by the manor is beautiful. There was only a couple of negatives: the jet tub (joined bathroom) has a tall sharp edge that was difficult to get into, the water tank doesn’t support 2 people shower in both bathrooms at once so we had to stagger and there are a lot of stairs (split level entrance with bedroom lover level and full flight to loft game room; 2 entrance stairs with one being higher than average which might be challenging for older family members as we experienced). All in all it was very clean, the owner was great to communicate with, and there were a ton of bonuses to this property. 😀

Great North Conway stay!

My husband and our friends and I had a great time and were very comfortable in the condo. Booking, check in and check out were all super easy. It was 90 and I was a little worried about the lack of air conditioning in the lower level bedrooms, but Pete assured us that they would stay cool because of the upstairs mini split, and he was correct! The snacks and bottle of wine that greeted us were all nice gestures. It was a great, clean homebase from which to explore the White Mountains and North Conway areas. We originally were going to book a hotel, but we were so glad we were all together, cooking meals and playing games at the dining table. Pete gave us recommendations for hikes, restaurants, even restaurants and things to do in Portland on our way to the airport. Would highly recommend for family and friends!

Great Location!- Clean Home!

We had a great 3 night stay in this home- Peter was a great host! We had no problems at all but I feel that if we did, he would have been responsive to our needs. The home was perfect for our needs, a mix of some tourist type visiting/dining and getting to the local mountains for a fundraising hike at Mt. Pierce. We were able to have some down time with our two teen boys who played pool in the loft area which was great! I would recommend this home!!

Beautiful N. Conway Ski Condo

Pete & Katie’s condo is perfect for a weekend getaway. The condo was recently remodeled with many high-end touches. It was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. We especially enjoyed the real fireplace and pool/ping-pong table.Pete's communication was excellent before, during and after our visit. He is friendly and a pleasure to work with. Pete went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay.The location is perfect for skiing Attitash, Wildcat and Cranmore, or the countless activities, shops, and restaurants in North Conway. I highly recommend Pete & Katie's condo. We had a fantastic time and will certainly be back.

Mountain Village Getaway is our family's vacation home and we have made many wonderful memories here. We completely renovated our home in 2022 and upgraded it with all new furnishings, décor and amenities. Our goal was to create a clean, comfortable, warm and inviting environment from the moment you walk through the door. We are local in New England and come here frequently, particularly in the wintertime. We enjoy hiking (in summer, fall and winter) as well as snowshoeing. We also simply enjoy the peace and calmness that we all find in the Mount Washington Valley. We hope you enjoy our family's home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The location of our home simply can't be beat! We have a perfect combination of central convenient location and quiet, peaceful wooded surroundings. Our townhome is within a short walk (across the road) to a local distillery with tasting room, brew pub with their own local beer and food and a great natural foods marketplace. There is even an excellent breakfast and lunch restaurant that is part of the natural marketplace and a yoga studio for those wanting to do so. On the actual property of our townhome is an historic manor with a fine restaurant as well as a martini bar where you can sit by the fire and enjoy a cocktail. All that and minutes to the center of North Conway's great shops, outlets and restaurants. We are also minutes to Storyland and Echo Lake State Park. There are gorgeous views of Mt Washington right form our property grounds. There is abundant hiking and outdoor activity at very close proximity. There is even a direct access from our property grounds into Whittaker Woods network of trails for nature walks, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Please note that in winter passes for snowshoeing and skiing in Whittaker Woods may be required but are not provided by us.

You will find all the convenience you can ask for along with the peace and tranquility you are looking for at our family's home!

Mountain Village Getaway is our family's vacation home. We fell in love with this area many years ago when we would come up for getaways with our family. It is the ideal location to enjoy the outdoors-hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, snowshoeing and more. At the end of the day we would come home to a cozy fire and relax, play games and build memories. We are not a rental management company. As such we strive to provide our guests with top-quality personalized service as we would expect and want for our own family. So feel free to reach out, we are here to help you have a memorable stay!

Please note that for security, we have a single Blink camera installed outside the front entry door. No cameras are used inside anywhere at our home.
