Thanks to a convenient transport location, it is the ideal starting point for many excursions and hikes in the beautiful volcanic Eifel, z. B. to the Maaren of the Eifel, the beautiful Moselle valley or the volcano park Brohltal / Laacher See. There is the connection to the Maare-Mosel-Radweg as well as the integration into the Vulkaneifel European Geopark and the German volcanic road.
