About this property

Rustic cozy bear theme, with two decks, one screened. There is abundance of wild life. Access to two private lakes. Close to Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Murphy and the casino. This is a walk friendly community with great views of the Lakes while walking. There is a gas fire pit and a gas grill. We have a bonus room located in the carport with a queen size sleeper futon, an exercise bike, and light dumbbell weights. There are several wineries within the area. We suggest Notley, Crane Creek, Paradise Hills, Habersham, Bear Claw. We also suggest visiting Fields of the Woods, Brass town Bald, Helen, Ga. Anna Ruby Falls, Vogel State Park, Nantahala Outdoor Center. For Coffee shops we suggest Cabin Coffee in Blairsville and Rare Bird in Murphy. For dinning we suggest Perones, Chevelles, and the Chop House in Murphy. For breakfast we suggest the Saw Mill, Grits and Greens, and The hole in the wall in Blairsville, Ga. You can find great German food in Helen, Ga. For craft breweries we suggest visiting Copperhill, Tn Buckbald brewery. We enjoy eating at Burra Burra on the river across from Buckbald brewery in Macaysville. We are motorcycle enthusiasts. Our cabin is centrally located Between the Tail of the Dragon, Suches Loop, Blood mountain, Russel Scenic Byway, Cherohala Skyway. Fontana Dam/Village. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Great Place!

We have been staying at different locations around the Murphy area going on five years now and this is one of the best we have found! We come about every quarter so we have stayed in a lot of places! This is a great cozy place! It makes our top two!

Tranquility

We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the cabin had easy access to and from the major highway along with the keyless entry; although we didn’t cook in the cabin, it was delightfully stocked with all the major amenities for home cooked meals; The view off the balcony is beautiful and tranquil leading you to want to enjoy some of that fresh mountain air; we were extremely grateful to see a fully stocked laundry as that’s always a plus for us on these road trips; The only slight inconvenience is the noted additional bedroom; it exists on the outside, thus would be great to bring that indoors for added convenience; overall, great ambiance in the cabin and great hosts able to communicate at a whims notice :)
