The home was great for a short stay. A few quirks to the house but nothing that was too bizarre. I'm assuming they are in the middle of redoing some of the home.
Check in and out was super easy. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
Very cute and clean house. Only wish the weather was above freezing so we could have enjoyed the very large deck with that view of the Tennessee river!!!!
It is a nice area, and has the potential to be really great. The cleaning crew I think kind of phones it in between stays. A few details that were missed that kind of once you settled in for the night you go- oh, how did they miss that- I dont put that on the property owner- but If it were my property -I'd be white gloving behind the cleaning crew if im putting out the money for that, or inspecting inbetween if there is a gap between stays. The property owner is incredibly welcoming, helpful and thorough, the aesthetic is really great, but with just a little more investment could make this place incredible! I would recommend, it slept my big family comfortably. Its close by to amenities. Overall a good time.
The host went above and beyond to ensure our check in was easy. The home is lovely and even better than the pictures. Loved the decor and very comfortable furnishings and beds. Will definitely return again.
Throughout my childhood my family and I came to Morris Chapel to visit our grandmother and we stayed in this home. This home has so many great memories of fishing trips, hikes, barbecues, and relaxation. The back porch especially just really gets you out of the hustle and bustle of the big city and get you back to nature. An overall since of peace comes over you as you stare at the trees and the TN River.
My sister and I missed those memories. So over this year we took the time to renovate our peaceful river home/cabin and turn it into an airbnb. So that guests can create some of those great memories we had in the home with their family and friends.
Why they chose this property
This is a great place, when you want to get out of the big city. There's several fishing spots nearby filled with catfish, bluegill and bass. We're less than 10 mins away from Savannah, TN., 2 hours from Memphis, 3 hours from Nashville, and 30 mins away for Pickwick Dam. Enjoy a getaway into the country, on our patio in the spring you can see an eagle fly above. If hunting is your thing, there are a lot of hunting spots for deer and game birds nearby.
There are so few places in which you can still get a great view. That is why we love this property.
